In 2014, KC Properties became the Property Management Company for the Vistas of Southfield due to my Board recommendation. As of todays date, the Property Manager assigned to the Vistas authorized over $ 2,000 in repairs without Board Authorization and has failed to follow up with co-​owners and Board request in a timely manner. When KC Properties discovered that some of the co-​owners wanted to recall me from the Board, they failed to intervene and caution the Board and the co-​owners about the consequences of their actions. I’m still on the Board and the Vistas is experiencing much turmoil and strife over the troubling events that have occurred at the Vistas this year. As a last resort, I encouraged KC Properties to communicate to the co-​owners about their personal knowledge concerning troubling events that occurred at the Vistas and they have refused to comply with the request. I’m very sorry and disappointed that I recommended KC Properties to the Vistas of Southfield and their contract isn’t being renewed for 2015 I do not recommend this company as your New Property Management Company. This property management service is horrible! I’m staying with my elderly parents who live in a luxury apartment proprty here in Detroit and wask SHOCKED to find out that they have been without airconditioning for months. Then, while I was here with my wife and 3-​year-​old son — the elevators went out. There are many elderly people being forced to walk upwards of 13 stories to get to their apartments. The property management company simply doesn’t care! Residents have been calling, sending emails and no one is responding at all! Apparently these people don’t really care about their residents health or well being. If you’re looking for a property, stay away from these guys. If you’re looking for a property management company — DEFINITLY stay away from these guys. All they will do is anger your residents to the point that they will move out as soon as possible.
