Typical Applebee’s. The food is the same as you would get it your local Applebee’s. Service however was lacking at this restaurant. They were busy but it took too long to have food on the tables and to get refills. It was almost like we were annoying waitress when we needed something. There are a good number of local restaurants in Huntington. I would try one of those before going to this Applebee’s.

Food is cold or over cooked. Smallest serving of cole slaw of any restaurant in the area. Sub par food from a cookie cutter restaurant chain.

Standard Applebee’s with standard fare. Nothing too special. The burgers are all right but somebody is always doing it better than Applebee’s. Nothing against this location though just in general

We went there on a Sunday night — it wasn’t too busy but not dead, either. Service was VERY slow. I am not sure if they were short staffed, or we just had a slow server. I ordered my bacon infused burger without the BBQ bacon ranch sauce. When it was delivered, it had the sauce on it. I decided to just try and scrape it off, because I didn’t want to wait forever for the server to come over and ask for another one. I ordered the French onion soup instead of French fries. It came before my meal, so that when my burger came, it looked very lonely on the big plate by itself. It would have been ok to bring the soup with the meal since I didn’t order it instead of a salad or as an appetizer. Food was ok. I have had better — even the Applebee’s in Fort Wayne is a little better than this one. The problem is that they have no competition to make it step up its game. There are a few fast food restaurants, some Mexican and a couple of locally owned small restaurants. There aren’t any other«chains» where you can get a decent meal(Bob Evans excluded). Please someone — open up another full service restaurant so we can have a better choice.

I know someone who works for the sanitation department and said, Applebees had a horrible track record. Their food is not too exciting anyways, never struck my fancy as long as I can remember. It’s just never really gave me that feeling that I’m eating out and have a good meal in my near future. After hearing about their sanitation problems, I’ve never returned to an Applebee’s since. That was 5 – 6 years ago. If you’d like to go eat shitty food, there are tons of places around town, I’m sure you can find, that are a lot cheaper than Applebee’s. They’ll save you the waiting time too.

It’s Applebees. If you are looking for original and delicious, you’re in the wrong place. I really liked the Applebee’s several years ago. It really stuck to being a burger/steak/etc joint that was a step up from fast food but not stupidly expensive. It’s tried to be an upscale, healthy restaurant to a place where the 21 year old can hang out after 10. Hey, I understand profit margins and trying to keep butts in the seats at all hours. But it seems to lose it identity. $ 45 for three people(one being a kids meal) seems high to me. Yup, I had a steak but it was $ 11 and much higher than my wife’s $ 8 chickenburger.

Applebee’s has stepped up their food game that’s for sure. Not to say that is 5 star restaurant by any means. It is still Applebee’s but the food is better than it used to be last time I went here. The soft pretzels with beer cheese were good at happy hour. The steak quesadilla towers were awesome as well. The waitress was nice and accommodating.

Pretty average as far as restaurants go. Applebee’s is a little pricey, but I don’t remember ever getting bad food. And the wait times have never been that bad.

I took my family and mother-in-law to this Applebee’s on Mother’s Day. I should have been a little alarmed that the place was half-empty. The hostess and waitstaff were very nice and cooperative. Unfortunately, the food was sub-par and expensive. We split 2 entrees and had one appetizer. The bill was $ 35 without a tips. The shrimp in the shrimp salad were lukewarm and the lettuce was wilted. We won’t be back.

Excellent meal of steak & portabellas. 7 weight watcher points. Yummy! Not«diety». Background music too loud. Had to yell to table mate.
