It’s a cute place, but slightly overpriced for small pieces of candy. Kids love going there, though! Nice spot in town as well.

This place USED to be GREAT. Sorry to say NOT anymore. I suggested this place to my boss for new corporate holiday gifts. We ordered three baskets for taste tests before we sent them to our clients. Although the baskets look lovely the cookies were stale and crumbly. The brownies were good but some were much fresher than others. The ones labeled with walnuts had none. The chocolate the owner uses is very good but can’t make up for the lackluster baked goods in the basket. Most of these cookies were thrown in the garbage. I called Peter the owner to offer this feedback and he was not accommodating to say the least. I felt that since we threw most of the cookies out he could offer an adjustment. He said instead: «this is the first time I am hearing this, good luck to you» I mean really what type of professional business owner offers this type of response? At least offer an apology and say I don’t know what happened but I would be happy to give you an adjustment or send over a fresher sampling of our cookies. I had the cookies before and they were always good especially the chocolate dipping on them. I think they use old ones for the baskets. Too bad– and on top of it all I suggested the place and instead of getting a feather in my cap, the baskets made me look like the idiot that suggested stale cookies for our clients. Thanks Peter!

Somehow their sundae marshmallow bar ended up in a store in Washington, DC. It was one of the most delicious candy bars(and vegan treats) I’ve had. I can’t comment on the store but this one product is great.

Great place!!! Best cookies and chocolate on Long Island. This place is spotless and well decorated. I love the lattes and cupcakes. This place makes the best chocolate chip ice cream cookie sandwiches I’ve ever had!!! It is a must try!!!

Amazing store. The cookies and brownies are from another planet. Absolutely worth a visit. The candies and chocolates are all fresh and delicious. Very unique. Big store with seemingly something for everyone. Believe I saw a great looking loaf of hallah as well. Passed by months ago while in Huntington Village and was greeted with great customer care. Ended up ordering gift baskets online and recipients were very appreciative :) a stop by this store is absolutely worth it. JB

I had no idea what to get here, there were so many options! My girlfriend and I came here Saturday night around 9, and left with a bunch of delicious treats! She went with the dark chocolate peanut butter cup, and said it was the best she had ever had. I, on the other hand, hit the assorted candy HARD and tried a bunch of delicious goodies. Next time I’ll try the cookies, but I’ll be sure to take the advice on here and come earlier in the day. Candy stays through to the nighttime, cookies don’t

When visiting Huntington, NY on a recent visit to see my daughter, we came here after dinner at Besito. While Chip ‘n Dipped has impressive looking display cases, not to mention some fun sounding desserts that they can put together, i.e., brownie sundaes, ice cream sandwiched between 2 cookies, etc., I wasn’t all that enamored with the chocolate chip cookie I tasted. It was quite stale and bland, and as other Unilocalers have commented, we could have made better ourselves. I’ve had far better chocolate chip cookies, and for a store that boasts chocolates and baked goods, it should have been MUCH better than it was… and the fact that it was stale is beyond comprehension. Also, the brownie my daughter had was not good. Overbaked and NOT at all tasting of a deeply chocolate flavor, I only wanted that one bite. Honestly, what I tried at Kiss My Cake FAR exceeded anything from this place. THEY can REALLY bake… but Chip ‘N Dipped? Nothing great whatsoever. Maybe their chocolate candy is better, but I didn’t try any, so I simply don’t know.

highway robbery for a cookie that wouldn’t satisfy a 5 yr old. ok i get it, its one of those cutesy village type sweets shops. but really i could bake up a better cookie at home from frozen cookie dough from the sto’. makes you wonder how a place like this can exist in this time

Literally the worst milkshake I’ve had in my life. And overpriced too. They made me put a cookie in it for whatever reason, which was super dry, and when i drank it it tasted like water with a slight vanilla aftertaste if anything, and even that tiny bit of solace was ruined by me choking on dry cookie bits after every other sip.

Overpriced, mediocre cookies. For a place that’s supposed to specialize in chocolate chip cookies — they weren’t very good. The cookies were dry and thin and not chewy and soft like they should be. If I wanted dry, thin cookies, I’d go with the crunchy chocolate chip cookie pack from whole foods bakery and be much more satisfied in terms of my taste buds and my wallet. I came for an ice cream sandwich cookie — which they informed me was no longer in season — but they still had a banner out front indicating they had them. Your banner drew me in but it was a lie!

I have never understood the hype about this place. So mediocre at best. Grab a cookie or two and cup of hazelnut coffee at A Rise Above, infinitely better!

My mom and I stopped by yesterday. Got a latte and a cappuccino. Both were perfectly made! We also got a dark handmade chocolate for home, and the Rocky Road for home. Their chocolate and treats are made in the store. You can see how they wrap them. We also had a slice of Candy Bar cake while sat there but I wasn’t impressed. It didn’t taste quite fresh to me but my mom liked it. Overall, good experience. They have great gourmet chocolate/pretzels/truffles baskets and boxes. Smaller at $ 20 and larger at $ 30. Would come back for one of those to get as a gift.

Would be 5 stars, but the owner is not too nice! He doesn’t go out of his way to smile or say hello. And I’ve been coming in for years.

Stopped in and the kids got some cookies dipped in chocolate. They loved it muchly. There are a lot of treats to choose from that it is soo overwhelming. There is someone in the front making chocolate, was cute to see. I was looking for the chocolate tempering kit but did not see it around. I will ask for it next time I pop in. Will def be back.

¾ Stars This place has a great assortment of truffles and stuffed chocolates. I will say they are tastier and are priced better then bon bons down the block. Other then chocolates I do not really come here for anything else. I have tried other treats around specific holidays and found them to be good, but not better then other places.

Used to get coffee here at least four times a week. They have a bold espresso that does the job. Tastes good and has a ton of caffeine in it. The store smells amazing upon entering and there are so many different kinds of chocolates and baked goods to choose from. There are even some sugar free options. The tea selection is pretty good as well. The girls who work behind the counter here are really friendly and kind and remember your order if you come here often. Sounds like a great place however the owner has rubbed me the wrong way one to many times and I no longer come here for coffee. I had an experience a few months ago where I was treated pardon my language like crap and it wasn’t appreciated considering how often I came here. Needless to say their coffee or other products are definitely not on the cheap side. A loss for both of us because I was giving them business and they were giving me awesome coffee, oh well. Customer service is essential, there are too many other good coffee houses in town…

Rocked a homemade chipwich on Sat and got stuck with some hard cookies for the shell. Tip… maybe ask for soft cooks or don’t head in there 5 min before they close. The softness of the cookie really does make the sandwich. A crunchy chipwich isn’t worth the $ 6.50 price tag in my eyes. Had to grab a massive dark chocolate peanut butter cup as well. Always a crowd pleaser.

Attended the chocolate tempering class and dipping of summer fruit purchased on Groupon. Which was a really smart move on their part because I didn’t even know this place was there. I went with 3 other friends and enjoyed a basic class on chocolate tempering, yep the good stuff, not the«melting chocolate» i.e. chocolate flavored candy,(think Chocolate Duck in Farmingdale). Only wish the stuff we dipped in later in the class was the good stuff. But alas I learned in class that the good stuff would not be good for a teaching class as it takes time; both slowly to melt it and quickly to form it and that does not lend well to first timers. The shop is a chocolate heaven– caramel covered in dark chocolate with salt, huge peanut butter cups, dipped pretzels and COOKIES. I recommend the class and the store. They even have a chocolate tempering kit to make goodies at home!!!

I moved to Huntington about a year and a half ago. Chip’n Dipped was one of the first local spots I came across and one I bring friends and family to whenever they visit. Three words I would use to describe Chip’n Dipped would be: delicious, cute and fun. Peter, the owner, has been there anytime I have gone in. This is someone who wanted to share something of his family with the local community. Stop in, have a treat with some coffee or tea and take a minute to enjoy the cookies and chocolates they have to offer!

Chip ‘n Dipped has the most delicious, homemade cookies that I have ever tried! The cookies are warm and the chocolate chips ooze out no matter what temperature the cookies! Before trying this place, I thought that they strictly had cookies but I was wrong. They have a plentiful assortment of homemade candies, truffles, gifts, ice cream, coffee, cheesecakes and more and more and more! A must try here: The«chipwhich» just like you’d think, it’s two cookies of your choice with your choice of haagen daaz icecream stuck in the middle — it is HEAVEN!!! Chip ‘n Dipped is a must try!
