Golden Corral is the place you go when you want to binge eat. You don’t go for the food. If you do go for the food then you need to analyze what you consider good, as you could pay just as much in a nice, local sit down restaurant with quality food and even a drink.

It all depends on when you get there, best is when they are switching from breakfast to lunch or lunch to dinner.

Gah! We were unfortunate enough to visit for breakfast — buffet style. It’s not pretty when they bring out the big steaming clear plastic sacs of warm food and slit them open to spill their contents into the bain marie as if dispatching some unfortunate beast from ear to ear with a hunting knife. You’d think they could at least pretend they make the food on premesis and do that out back.
The sausages, biscuits and gravy would have been ok had we not witnessed their lives bleed from steamy sacs before hand.
If you DO eat here, better be ready with your cardiologist on speed dial.
