J Lee Nail and Spa

A simple pedicure on a Sunday afternoon… high expectations for this relatively new place that I found through reading the reviews were quickly dashed. Yes, reclining seats, TV’s were nice but in truth they can’t sway me. Brought my polish and top and base coats too. Not relaxing, kind of stressful to have 2 people switching off to do it mid way. Neither knew where the other had left off and do you need to ask to have the cuticles cut? The owner, one of the technicians, tried to make it up with some tlc after I said something but I doubt that I would return, especially with a nail place on almost every corner! I should have driven to Jericho where I got a very good pedicure a few weeks ago!

What an experience! I came to try this new nail salon that I have been waiting to open, and could not have had a better experience. All of the chairs are recliners. Even if you are getting a manicure, you lay down. I had a gel manicure while I had a foot massage. You MUST try this place. You won’t be disappointed. Great prices too! Try a massage with Sharon.

Seriously the best mani/​pedi I’ve had in a long time. Felt so pampered… and at a reasonable price. Really nice staff that was so attentive to making sure I was comfortable. I usually don’t write reviews but I was so blown away I couldn’t help myself. There is no shortage of nail salons in the area but this place really sets the bar high.

Best nail/​spa experience EVER. I went in initially after seeing that they were having 20% grand opening but when I walked in I was FLOORED. They were attentive and the place was incredible. All of the seats are leather, comfortable MASSAGE CHAIRS. They gave you an ottoman to put your legs up and that in itself was incredibly comfortable. Not only do they have flat screens on the wall but EACH SEAT HAS ITS OWN TV. As I layed back while Lee and Julie did my nails (they were amazing, friendly and very talented by the way), I was able to watch music videos and relax. While Lee did my nails, Julie brought hot towels in plastic and massaged each arm and each leg. Keep in mind I was just getting a gel manicure with extension which took about an hour.
I would say generally their prices may run a little more than average but they have 20% off right now & seem to have deals as well. It is definitely worth it and I will gladly spend the money on their business. So friendly, so talented and definitely worth my first review on Unilocal,ever.
