OK so my favorite appetizer in the whole is probably their: kashke bademjan traditional… the crispy onions, whey and eggplant really are a delicious combination. I prefer the Roslyn location though, overall experience and food wise…

Family restaurant, great food, and the team there always makes us feel welcomed. Always busy, best to make a reservation.

Very good Persian Food. Just be sure to ask for Extra pita if carrying out. They tend to only give you a couple of pieces.

Food was good but the service was poor. It was a Sunday and the place was pretty full. It was a manager and two waitresses and a single bus boy for the entire place which was probably 2 waitresses and 2 bus boys short. I would give them another try simply because the food was good.

First timer with Persian food but definitely not the last. The koobideh kabobs were fantastic as were the chicken. The fried chick pea app was very good as well. Very attentive and helpful wait staff who know the product well. I will be back

Been here more than once and each time it’s a different experience. The employs are really nice and it’s a nice Resturant. Food is a hit or miss. Sometimes the meat is fresh and other time it taste like warmed up old meat. Overall is okay.

I love this place! The portions are HUGE and delicious for an excellent price. I always get the chicken and beef kabob and take home the leftovers. The mediterranean salad beats out a salad at any greek restaurant I’ve been to. Its fresh and chopped to perfection! I am also not a huge fan of eggplant but i LOVE the Kashk-Bademjan! You must get this!!! You really cant go wrong with anything you get here it is all so great. The service is also excellent

Been here 2x for lunch and loved it. The waiter was so nice and he remembered us even though it was a while ago that we were last there. The baba was one of the best I ever had, great smokey flavor! And the salad that came w the meal was really good too. You cannot go wrong with any of the shish kebobs. I tasted a few of them and they were all fabulous! Definitely get the cherry rice, my daughter n i are addicted to it. We will definitely be going back. I think I am going to be a regular here.

On my trip back to Long Island, I was so thrilled to see Rawagh, which my family and I frequented long ago despite a 50 minute drive to Mineola, had opened up here in Huntigton! Especially after having dated a Persian for 5 years and having had my fair share of home cooked Persian food to judge by, Rawagh is on top of the game. It’s def. as good as I remember. I recommend any appetizer with eggplant, and especially sambusehs.(Similar to Indian samosa, filled with lentil goodies and served with a chili mint sauce, but even BETTER!!!) besides great food, the reason why my family had always patroned Rawagh when we lived on LI is because the wait staff was fabulous. They were always attentive, funny, and welcomed questions/gave suggestions about the menu, food, drinks, and culture. So our waiter here was as great as the ones we remember.

Just got back from a nice dinner at Ravagh. Stuffed grape leaf appetizer was very good. The kebab entrée was a standout. Lamb stew could have used a bit more spice but there is a chili powder shaker on the table. The staff was very nice and gave us complimentary dessert. We will definitely be back.

We were there for lunch and had five different dishes. I have been to hundreds of Persian restaurants in at least 30 countries. The kabobs were great. Fear join was great and ghormeh Danzig was good(lacked a bit of lime). Price to performance was fantastic and that is why I gave it a five.

My go to place in Huntington village… generous portions make sharing a must and a delight. Char Grilled to perfection were our kabobs over nutty flavored rice. We had chicken(juicy) and beef … Salads are also superb … Once again the grilled portions of vegetables(onions/green n red peppers, zucchini) were amazing … Persia is where our civilization comes from and why I will be back here as often as I can

Never disappoints, this is a lovely place for dinner out with the kids early or a quiet date night a little later in the evening. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is second to none. Manhattan quality with the convenience of on street parking in the suburbs. The best of both worlds. If you are in Manhattan, they do have a location there too. Not up for the trip to Hunington, stop by their location in Roslyn. If you have the time during the day, the lunch menu is every bit as good as the dinner menu. There is something very relaxing about lunch out with the girls on a random Tuesday afternoon, this is great spot to do it. My favorite dish is the chicken kabobs. The roasted vegetables are prepared with the same level of care as the main course. I am not sure how they do it but they warm the vegetables through without burning the exterior.

Huntington’s much needed Persian restaurant is a complete let down. The sambuseh lacked spice and was greasy and the goresh bademjan stew was very bland. Only plus was service was very friendly and prices are reasonable. Such a shame.

Amazing Persian food in Huntington. Very reasonably priced and the food is soooooo fresh. The Manager is so nice and accommodating, especially for those in our party who have severe food allergies. FANTASTIC guys. Thanks!

Ravagh Grill is always a stop for us when visiting family in the area. Their food is varied, interesting, always delicious and very reasonably priced. Their grilled dishes are grilled to perfection. Flavorful, fully spiced and char grilled outside while being tender and juicy on the inside. The subtle flavors combined with their strong pickled torshi make a terrific combo. Main courses come with basmati rice and grilled vegetables. They offer a number of interesting specialty rice sides as well for an additional charge. They are equally as skilled with stews and seafood. Apps are large and suitable for a smaller main course or for sharing. Their low prices and very large portions make it a screaming bargain considering the quality of the meal. Well worth a visit.

Solid spot in Huntington… I’ve had several different kinds of kabobs along with sides etc. Everything has been delicious, prices reasonable, portions adequate to large and service friendly and prompt. Excellent overall!

The parents and I were talking through downtown Huntington trying to find a new place to eat. We wanted something different and were having a hard time finding the right spot… when we came upon Ravagh. A lady walking out of the store saw us peering at the menu and gave us her recommendation. Well, why not? It turned out to be a great meal. We got the eggplant appetizer and it was amazing with the warm pita bread(even though they don’t make it in house). I forget the exact entrees we ordered but the portion size is great. I remember the kebobs being pretty good and whatever meat dish(I think it was lamb shank) being very flavorful. It was a lot of food. The bottle of wine we had(I think it was a malbec) was a great pairing with the meal.

This is truly a hidden gem of Huntington. I live right downtown, so I know the restaurants here. The food is clean, fresh and delicious. This is one of the best restaurants in the village! I usually get the Chicken Shish Kebob– fresh chicken grilled to perfection, delicately grilled veggies and a soft bed of rice. TRYIT!!!

I just had one of the best meals. We started with some wine, there is a decent selection, & the Sambusehs as an appetizer. Everyone really liked them, very crispy & tasty and not at all greasy. We shared some plates, had to everything was so good we all wanted to try what each other had. A few of us had the chicken kabobs, they were the BEST kabobs I have ever had, plump, juicy morsels of chicken perfection. ooooh sooo good. Also tried the Ghourmeh Sabzi really good as well, really tender beef in a stew with kidney beans and spinach & lemon, loved it!!! The service was great, the prices were great, & the food was spectacular!!!
