Solow sports has a great selection of tennis and all racket sports products. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and professional and the prices are always very fair.

After playing casually for years with old racquets, I decided it was time for my husband and I to get new racquets. I was considering a store in Commack that a friend had recommended, because of their demo program. But I hesitated, because of the distance to Commack from where we normally play.
Then I realized that we had a sports shop right in Huntington Village, and decided to give them a try. It turns out that they too had a demo program. I told Julian about our skill levels, and set off with the first pair of racquets. He encouraged me to come back with comments. A few days later, I returned, and talked about trying a different pair the next time.
After the second trial, Julian suggested another pair of racquets. We finally had a favorite. We went back to select our stringing, and place the order. A week later we picked up two racquets, and played that evening.
We couldn’t be happier– Julian was patient with each demo, and with our feedback, steered us in the right direction. What a great find!

Had my racquet restrung and a grip replaced from Solow this weekend. The personal attention was excellent, even on a busy weekend.
Turnaround time was fast, under 24 hours, and the experience was painless. Prices were very fair. The store itself is a fun place to check out with a great selection of tennis product. Great location. Definitely coming back again when I need new tennis gear!

Solow Sports is the best tennis shop on Long Island! The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. They are also very accommodating with turn around time for re-​stringing racquets. They have a huge selection of new and used racquets & their demo program is AWESOME! They also have a great selection of clothes, sneakers and accessories for Tennis, paddle tennis & squash. I love shopping there!

I came here when i broke a string and absolutely needed a racket for my morning lessons next day. I thought maybe they would have it; not only did they have it, but it was one of the best experiences I had at any retail location.
Solow sports has a great interior. You’ll find plenty of racket, clothes, and shoe options. They have a large lot in the back where you can park the car for free. Julian, the store owner, is one of the nicest, most accommodating guys I’ve ever met. A nice surprise was the ping pong table in the back where I could hit with a friend.
I’m happy to know that Solow Sports is in business and that I can rely on them for my needs now and in the future.

Had a similarly great experience with one of Julian’s employees Christian. He was cordial, personable, and made sure I was happy with everything I was buying. I traded in an old racquet and he did the stringing as well as the customized grip.
I would buy everything from shoes to racquets to balls from these guys. As for demos, you won’t get this kind of customer service from online vendors such as Tennis Express or Tennis Warehouse.
