I have been going to The Cutting Room since the day it opened, not only do you get great haircuts they are the best guys in the world who remember their clients by first name and always friendly to all!!!

None of the reviews say anything about shaves so I called to ask. This place said they were really busy and asked me to call them back when I asked if they do shaves. It’s a yes or no question. If you don’t have time to take my call and book am appointment you don’t get my business. What a bad attitude.

To start off, i do not usually review places, i have always left it to my girlfriend who is an elite, BUT as she was not with me for MY haircut, i felt it necessary to leave a review myself.
I just moved to the town and looked up a barber shop on Unilocal and these guys came up.
I came in and was welcomed as if i was a life time customer, the atmosphere was amazing — this is what barber shops should be!
Nick gave me my haircut and he did an amazing job, i spent the time to listen to what i want and guided me throughout the process — including fixing some of the problems my previous barber made!
oh and the prices are very fair!

Grew up and live in Huntington and never realized this hidden gem was here, wish I found them sooner! My buddies mentioned they went to the Cutting Room and insisted I go too. After seeing what a great job they did on their hair, I decided to give yet another barber a shot. I’ve literally have tried them all from salons to super cuts to barber shops with the old school Italian vibe. So, I went for the first time last Saturday and can honestly say that Nick killed it. I wanted to change my style up a little and he did exactly that. First time I got multiple compliments on a fresh cut.
Couldn’t be happier to find a new, local & modern barber to support in my hometown. Super nice guys, extremely reasonable price ($ 15 — try finding that anywhere else in town), and a relaxed atmosphere — just go if you’re on the fence, you won’t be let down.

After some Unilocaling, we decided on The Cutting Room. This was going to be my son’s first haircut. Also, his first Bday was coming up. So we wanted to make sure he had a good haircut for his pictures.
My son sat down and had zero issues during his haircut. We thought for sure he would cry. Nick did a great job of introducing himself in a friendly manner which made my son feel comfortable. He changed the tv to a children’s network.
We were very pleased with his haircut. Very happy with The Cutting Room. We will be back for sure.

Nick and Ryan give the best cuts in town! I started going to them after putting up with a few years of sub-​par cuts at The Gentlemens Barbershop. The guys take their time with each cut and treat everyone like a friend. Nick always makes an effort to get to know me better and, along with Ryan, creates a friendly welcoming environment. I just convinced my dad to switch to Nick and Ryan too, he was a long time customer at Gentlemens Barbershop. I think this place is a real hidden gem in Huntington.

Tried them tonight for my sons – they were very patient with both (and with me) – nice clean haircuts that both kids and Mom liked – very, very reasonably priced. We’ll be back and Dad may even try them :)

Sitting here waiting for Nick to cut my hair. Feel like I’m hanging out at a friends house watching tv, and listening to the funniest conversations. I’ve been told I have difficult hair to cut, these guys are pros, always do a great job. Been to a few places around here, they are the best, also $ 15, I used to pay $ 30 for the same thing. Having a local shop in town I support these locals. Last thing, noticed that they always use a fresh razor unlike most others. Long post cause I’m waiting my turn.

I’ve been going to Nick and Ryan’s since it opened and my two sons and I have never had a bad haircut. The price for a cut is reasonable, the staff is great at what they do and the atmosphere is always pleasant and fun. They are great with young kids too as both of my sons have been going there since they could get haircuts. The TV always has good shows on and the magazine selection for the waiting time is also terrific. Highly recommended!
