This place is SO good! Always fresh and tasty! I usually get the Tokyo signature roll with a California or spicy crab roll. Usually my husband and I order delivery from here, and they are always fast and friendly. We dined in for lunch last week and I was pleasantly surprised. We were seated very quickly next to the fish tank(I kind of felt bad eating my sushi while the fishies were watching me) Our waiter was friendly and attentive(unfortunately I didn’t get his name. Our food came rather quickly(quicker than other sushi restaurants I’ve been to) and it was delicious. I loved the presentation, it was plated neatly on a solid heavy wood platter. We ate quickly because it was just so good. The prices are fair, not too bad for sushi. When we were leaving the manager asked about our experience, shows that they really care about their customers! This place is a must try if you haven’t been here already!

Nice bar and environment. Sometimes they have a Piano player. The sushi does not make my top ten.

First time there. Not a huge fan of sushi, so I ordered the Grilled Wild Scottish Salmon. It was terrific. They lost a star on service. It was a bit too attentive at first, then the waiter went AWOL. It’s not like the place was packed and he was busy with other customers. And it hurt his tab and tip. We thought about having dessert, but by the time he resurfaced, we decided to leave. Never even saw the dessert menu. However, the food was good so I’d return to give it another try. Maybe I caught the place on a bad night.

Excellent service and management, make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Best sushi in Huntington by far.

Second review: This is my fourth time here; third time with the same excellent server(young, white, bearded — you’d think I’d ask his name. Duh.). Pad Thai with turnips — lovely invention! Don’t even need the shrimp, chicken or whatever — it’s great naked. Just a yummy place for a reasonably priced lunch.

Great environment, good food at a reasonable price, plenty parking. The servers could use more training.

Came here for dinner and have been here before under a different name. The restaurant was spacious with a beautiful fish tank where I was seated near. The lighting was a bit too dark, especially to read the menu but it was a nice place. The staff was friendly but the waiter took awhile to realize we were low on drinks and even spilled hot tea on himself and got quite a bit on the floor which he didn’t realize till I said something. The fish was fresh and each dish had really great presentation. Will I come back? Yes I would! One other thing to add is that they don’t change your plates every time a new dish comes out.

Loved the super shooter, regal roll, and tuna avocado salad(huge). Also the wonton soup is good but a little different than traditional wonton soup as it is in an onion broth. Didn’t love the Tom yum soup and eraser roll(no rice).

I have been to ting several times and every time gets better. I took my friend out for a birthday dinner and everything was excellent. We had the pad thai, spare ribs, gyoza and some specialty sushi. Everything is delicious, and the service is excellent. The inside of this restaurant is beautiful. We had a great time…

Great for take out/delivery and dine in. Order from here often and always enjoy it. They do forget to put sauces/dressings for take out orders so definitely check and remind them. The regular rolls always taste so fresh and you can never go wrong with a few spicy tuna rolls or California rolls. The lunch specials are great and if you don’t like soup, you can get double salad– The best salad dressing. For speciality rolls– the Godzilla roll is my all time favorite. I recently tried the sandwich, I was hesitant, but I’m so glad that I did. I’ve only had it once, but will be ordering again. The fashion roll is also very tasty. Overall, great place for sushi in the Huntington area.

The food was good. I went there with my family last night. The service was horrendous. The waitress was dragging her feet and yawning the whole time. Everything from getting our drinks and getting our orders took forever. It won’t deter me from going but the service was so painfully slow. Hopefully the next time will be better.

Sashimi was fresh and service was superb. Staff went out of their way to cater to our needs as we had some special requests.

I am a very big fan of Ting, it has an enormous selection to choose from. Not only is the food scrumptious but the presentation is beautiful. I have been to this restaurant twice and each time the waitstaff was quick and efficient. If you don’t have the time for a sit down meal, they also do takeout\/delivery. I would recommend this to anyone in the surrounding area.

Ehhhh Food was decent but not differentiating from any other Sushi/Asian Fusion joint on LI. Wife’s glass of wine was poured into a dirty glass with hardened food particles… asked for a new glass but still paid. Also, wife’s Sea bass was brought out 10 minutes before my meal came… big no no… Perhaps a bad night, but I wasn’t impressed.

Pretty consistent and authentic food. The sushi is fresh and always good. Have had several hot dishes as well, pad Thai, sweet and sour chicken, coconut shrimp.

A year or so we gave Ting a shot and were pleasantly surprised… very good quality food and attentive service. Things have changed — «someTing» is definitely wrong. Maybe new owners? Over the past few months Ting has been in a steady decline. The guys behind the sushi bar are still pumping out great food, but the front line staff are making dining at Ting difficult. Last night our server was missing in action most of the night. We had to call her over for app orders, drink orders and entrée orders. And by the end of the night all the staff huddles behind a curtain to eat, leaving customers isolated. It’s as if Ting management would prefer that you call your order in and pick it up. Maybe this is their plan… we won’t be visiting Ting anymore.

Had a blast with the wife. Second time in and it didn’t disappoint. Ordered a little bit of everything. Got stuffed. Service was five stars. Strongly suggest to go here for fine dining and good food. Not stuffy at all very roomy inside.

I would describe this place as upscale Asian; however not to be fooled — it will NOT rob your wallet. Reservations via OpenTable for Saturday night were not difficult. The décor was very tasteful and clean. The service was impeccable — we tried all the suggestions given to us by our host and they were spot on. We tried the: 1. Vegetable spring rolls — decent; a little too oily for my taste 2. The Playboy specialty roll — excellent. The fish they use is clearly fresh; this dish proves they know sushi… and know it well 3. Black pepper steak 4. Treasure of the Sea — awesome mix of seafood that was very filling 5. For dessert: the crème brûlée served with green tea ice cream — great finish to a great meal… not too filling and the ice cream was delicious; not too heavy This place is not to be missed. I would describe it as Asian — has a little of Japanese, Chinese and Thai. Likely within the top 5 Asian restaurants on LI.

I went to Ting for the first time several months ago for a co-workers good bye dinner. I had the: Yellowtail Jalapeño appetizer and the Sex on the Beach roll for my meal. I was SO impressed and have been dying to go back. When suggested to go back, I was ecstatic. However, this visit was not quite the same. I had again the Yellowtail Jalapeño appetizer; it was good however not rave-able as it last time was. For dinner we split 3 rolls all of which were decent, but again nothing to boast about. My tingle for Ting has fizzled out. I will check out another local sushi place before going back.
