Let me ask you this… What pizza place square cuts a double dough or pan pizza? I totally get square cut thin crust pizza. It’s a Midwest thing that New Yorkers bitch about; and its the only way to eat thin crust. A double dough pizza with a braided crust whole point is so that every piece has a piece of that crust. So square cutting it kinda defeats the purpose.
First time ordering from these guys. Get the pizza… yep.
I call. Ask if it was normal to square cut such a thick pizza. After dealing with this girl… I wont order from here again again.
The conversation with the girl who answers goes like this…
Me: Hi, I just ordered a double dough pizza. Is it normal to square cut it, because the pieces are all over the place?
Girl: All pizzas over 10in are square cut.
Me: Even deep dish?
Girl: Well, no… what’s wrong?
Me: I just have a pizza that I assumed would be pie cut because it’s so thick.
Girl: What? Ummm, do you want me to remake you a pizza?
Me: No, I just… (Interrupts me)
Girl: Wait, I don’t know if I can do that… Whats your name?
Me: It’s not that big of a deal… I just never seen that bef… (interrupts me again)
Girl: (bothered now) If you wanted it pie cut you should have asked for that when you ordered.
Me: Ya know what. Don’t worry about it. My fault for assuming, My fault for not asking. Thanks, have a nice night.

The food was excellent, very good customer service, I’ll be back!

There are not many options for delivery in Pingree Grove but we decided to give this place a try. A pizza, chopped salad and a chicken parm. The salad was good except the dressing (ranch) is packaged not made in house. The pizza was good. Quality ingredients. The chicken parm was less than desirable. The chicken was awful. Instead of a fresh chicken breast, it was a deep fried from the freezer. The meat sauce lacks herbs to make it flavorful and the spaghetti was over cooked. Lastly, delivery took an hour and the driver didn’t have sufficient change. Overall, a bit pricey for the quality. Go for the pizza, that’s it though.

July 3^rd 2014 and I called another place first and they were not so nice. So I tried these guys at 9:35 pm and they were awesome!!! Very nice and the steak salad I got was very good. The girl upfront was so nice and helpful and patient.

To be honest, I’m not sure what the bad reviews are from. I’ve taken out pizza from here twice and I can’t complain about service or quality of pizza. The price was decent and I didn’t have to wait very long.
I had used a coupon and got a large pizza. Didn’t do delivery so can’t say anything about that.
The only reason I didn’t give the full 5 stars is that the pizza was just ok. The crust and sauce is key and there are only a couple of places that make my NY style pizza just right. However, this was the closest pizza joint.

Great food, fast delivery and friendly employees have us coming back every week for Papa Saverio’s of Huntely!

The owner Chris was RUDE to us and has no idea how to run a business. Please stay away from this place. They screwed up our pizza two times and yet somehow it was our fault. We had two go back two times to pick up the pizza and it was still wrong. If you like your pizza swimming in sauce even if you say light on the sauce and then have the owner tell you that there was nothing wrong with it in the first place then maybe this is the place for you. It isn’t worth your troubles.
