America’s Best Value Inn Huntsville

Last resort. Stay Away. Didn’t even use the shower. Not worth a second-​glance. There are cheap motels, then there’s this place. Bugs are included. The sheets were stained. everything felt and looked dusty.

We have traveled far and wide and stayed in every price level of hotel. This was without doubt the WORST hotel we have ever stayed at. It was DIRTY. The bottom foot of the shower curtain had heavy mold on it, there was a 2″ diameter pile of black «stuff» in the corner behind the door that my granddaughter thought was a dead spider, there were dried brown spots on the toilet seat (!), the door to the freezer section of the mini fridge was broken, there was no air on when we entered and it smelled musty, and there was a nasty old lounge chair sitting outside the room. This place was in an area of town where the streets were lined with bankrupt businesses and vacant buildings. It’s been a while since I felt compelled to sleep with my gun within arms reach. I can’t believe America’s Best Value Inn would allow such a hotel to carry their corporate name. Be careful!

Hotel room smelled funny and what I can only assume was a prostitute woke me up at midnight knocking on the door saying «Hey baby. «, heard her doing this on the doors to the left and right too.

Sketchy people «hanging out» here. Not sure if they are guests or what. Not so bad till they start calling you «hey babe» and asking what your doing here. Reminds me of «My Name is Earl». Never realized how creepy that is until I stayed there, We found this place from travelocity, next time I’ll remember to check Unilocal for hotel reviews before traveling.

Standard crappy motel — but this one has shitty service. Asked for wake-​up call. Didn;t get it.
Called in the morning for late checkout time. Ol’ smoker voice says she doesn’t know, but she’sll call me back within ½ hour. Never called back.
Continental breakfast never materialized. Or put away early.
Got in here late, left early. Wouldn’t come back. Don’t recommend.
