Beauregard’s

Best description I can offer is hit or miss. Sometimes the food is very good and service excellent and timely, sometimes not. Wings are their most consistently good item followed by the sandwiches and burgers. Do not order the chicken fingers — consistently tough and chewy.

Best wings in town. Service is a little slow so make sure you are not starving. Always good atmosphere and service.

Arrived early on a Wednesday, ahead of the lunch rush. Seated in five minutes. Bored-​looking waiter takes our order. Then, we wait an hour, CONSTANTLY asking the waiter for our food. Eventually we had to give up, because unlike the waiter, we had work to do. The host was useless in getting results, too.
I will never return here.

Don’t order take-​out unless you want to wait when you get there — I ordered take-​out wings. When I arrived the 2 young ladies at the front desk told me to have a seat at the bar and the bartender would take care of me. The bartender was waiting on customers behind and around the bar. It took 10 minutes until she got to me. I do not believe this is her fault. One person to make and serve drinks, wait on lunch customers behind and around the bar and service take-​out customers — seems reasonable that she would be quite busy. Also, she could not know I was a take-​out customer as I was told to sit at the bar like other inside customers. All the while there are 2 ladies up front just talking to each other and sometime seating customers. The bartender did get some help from the back. This person told me they were putting my order together AFTER they got around to me which was almost 15 minutes after the time I requested the order be ready. While the wings were very good, I will probably look for another wing place to order takeout in the future.

Good place for wings. Haven’t had anything else on the menu but the wings are solid. Beers are cheap too.
Same goes for Airport Drive location in SE Huntsville.

I really hate that they closed the other location. The food and service were SO much better. I’ve gone twice now to this location and regret it. The last time I went the food was so bad that even after sending it back three times I still couldn’t eat it. The lettuce was brown and my wings were wrong and then were served raw. My husbands order was messed up as well. To the servers defense, he tried and had a good attitude about it. My most recent trip was not good either. I only saw my server when she took our order and brought us the check. The wings were the smallest I have ever seen. We never had our drinks refilled, even though the manager and other staff walked by us multiple times. My husband had to ask a random waitress for our check after waiting for ten minutes. The food took 30 minutes to come to our table even though they were not busy. We are very disappointed and wish they had not closed the Jordan Lane location.

I walked in on a Saturday at 4:00pm I was only person at the bar with about 15 others in dining area when I ordered a cheeseburger. It took 42 minutes to be served and burger was average. By the time I finished my meal to fathers came in with 4 children in tow went straight to the bar ordered their beers and proceeded to walk off and talk to people they knew leaving the children ages maybe from 6 — 14 sitting in bar stools being kids and acting as if they were in Chucky Cheese. Good thing ABC board didn’t walk in. I will not be back and suggest to friends they do not either. Thanks but NO THANKS.

In 2007 I was visiting Huntsville and family brought us here. I was shocked at how awesome the service was and family just said it was good «Southern Hospitality». When we moved here recently, I was excited to go to Beauregards again.
We ordered and had 4 kids with us. When we asked about kids menus, we were told it was «in her head» and she rattled off a bunch of things. Our drinks came quickly and that’s where it ended. We waited 45min to an hour for our food with no explaination. We saw a group of 3 come in and eventually walk out because no one helped them. It was weird because there were so many employees! Off and on one would stand at the hostess counter and stare into space. My family member finally got up to track someone down to find the food.
I’ll never be back. The waitress had the nerve to tell us we could ask for her if we came back in again. That’s how unaware they are of their customers feelings, time and frustration.

Solid burger and wing place. Very good vegetarian burger as well. Fries and onion rings also good. Family who indulge in wings love them mild or hot with the blue cheese dressing and other options. Laid back ambience and take out available. Good option on the go.

Wings are pretty good, although a little small (and therefore overpriced). Only a couple tvs in there so not much value if you’re trying to catch some games. Also, featured Hunts ketchup on all the tables, this is a clear sign of a restaurant trying to cut corners on quality. Fries were pretty good too, if only there was some Heinz for dipping!

Only place I go for wings. They have the best sauce of any place I have ever been. I get the hot sauce mixed with their honey gold and that stuff is the BOMB!
I also get them to make my fries extra extra crispy, and eat them with honey mustard.
Ask for Dena as a waitress. She got the order right and kept the glasses full without bugging us. Best waitress in the joint.

I decided to give this place a try and in the process discovered the same things previous reviewers had discovered. The place was not clean. Not grimy and totally disgusting but obvious from the dust collecting on the overhead vents it hasn’t had a good, thorough wiping down in a while. There were only a couple other people there but it still took about five minutes for someone to seat me and another seven for me to be waited on. Not just an outrageously long time but the overall vacancy of the restaurant considered, a little sad. I ordered the five piece wings with mild sauce and ranch. They took about another twelve minutes. Eh. Not a horrible wait. Total came to a little over $ 8. Just for the small wings, mind you. I didn’t order a drink.
The wings were fairly small, not teeny. They had a couple good bites on them. Not as large as I’d hoped for the price. They were tasty though. Have to give them that. Not amazing. Not «Oh wow that’s delicious.» Just okay. Not horrible. Cooked well. Would have been very satisfied with what I got for what I paid had they been just a bit bigger, but since they weren’t the overall quality-​to-​price ratio fell just a bit short of a match. I probably won’t be returning for that reason.
Overall it was just a very «Meh» experience. Not great. Not awful. Just meh.

The wings are good (although a bit overpriced). However, what really prompted two stars was the poor service that was provided by Dreama (that was her name according to the receipt). Anyway, she brought the incorrect order for me and then we literally didn’t see her again until it was time for our check, which we waited at least 10 – 15 minutes for after we were done eating. We also had to get up and have another server bring us drink refills because we were out for over 10 minutes. Bottom line — food good, service horrendous.

I decided to give Beauregards another try after writing them off a couple years ago when the service was terrible with the wait staff standing around and not attending to the customers. A friend told me they were under new management and the Wings were good. Plus, at my regular wings place, their wings seem to be smaller each time I go.
First the bad… the décor has not changed, needs updating, is a bit drab, and the place needs a good cleaning. The beer selection was paltry. In the age of craft beers all that was on tap was bud, miller, coors and a Yuengling, which I ordered. If you want other flavors of sauce on your wings, say jamaican jerk, it’s an extra charge.
So the good… I really like their wings. I ordered the Hot and they were good sized, tasty, and came with a good portion of Bleu cheese (the portion of Bleu cheese at my regular wings place is small, has me scraping the bottom and asking for more, for an extra cost). The waitress was attentive enough without being bothersome and brought a to-​go cup of tea for my son.
Would I go back? I will probably go back, just because I like the wings but, it will not be a first choice unless they can clean the place up and expand their beer selection.

I had once before said I was not going back for bad service. Thought I would give it another shot. This was the last shot. Not again.

My wife and I went to eat wings and found they had changed their menu and prices. This used to be one of our favorites, not any longer. My wings were good but my wife’s wings were half the size of mine. Disappointed in the quality now.

I always get one of the wings specials, «hot». Love their wings sauce, and the fries are pretty tasty too. It can be a little slow, but it’s because they fry the wings to order, so you’re always getting fresh stuff. I live right around the corner, so I frequently just call in a takeout order.

We had wings and ribs. The ribs were okay, a little on the tough side. I did not like the barbeque sauce. It was a tomato based but on the sour side. The wings were decent, on the small side. The fries and onion rings were average. The overall feeling of the place was kind of funky. They weren’t busy, our waiter was new so he couldn’t answer any of our questions, the other waiters were sitting at a table eating. It is not a place I will find myself returning to. I am sure you can find wings at another place, so just go there.

The first time I went to Beauregards I vowed to never go back. The service was slow as Christmas, the food was sub-​par, and the prices weren’t worth it. That was 2 years ago.
Now, under new management, they’re doing much better. Their boneless wings are really tasty (as good as you could expect), and the hot really is actually hot like it should be. Our waiter was fast and friendly, but completely non-​intrusive. The food was out pretty quickly and we didn’t have any issues with our orders.
Overall, much improved and I’ll be giving them some more business in the future.

My family and I came here and ordered ribs. The rib sauce was hotter (spicy) than I liked and asked if we could get them replaced with dry ribs. The answer was their policy is no refunds or exchanges and yes they would bring out another order of ribs but we would be charged full price for new ones. My wife raised a fuss and the manager came out and confessed that the sauce mix that night was hotter than normal and she would exchange them THIS time. Never been back.
Update June 2014 — This review was made before Beauregards went out of business and then reopened under new ownership. I still haven’t been back to retry.
