Burlington Coat Factory

The cashiers are extremely rude. I was not greeted, never once did they even make eye contact or smile. In fact she acted like this was the last place she wanted to be. I was told my total and after I paid, she put it in a bag, and handed me a receipt. Said nothing. I left. Will not be back. So many people without a job, and Burlington would rather hire sour, rude employees.
Also very long line. Wasted half of my hour lunch break because there was only one cashier. Eventually another came up and took the layaway instead of those of us that been waiting.

Discount department store. Very large, as it was originally a Home Depot. They have expanded their ladies clothing section, and reduced the size of their men’s clothing section, so my wife now likes the store better.
Today she bought a nice Sunday dress, a jacket, and a purse, all at what she called «unheard-​of low prices.» Their summer sale has started, up to 60% off.
There are no helpful salespeople on the floor to help you find things. That is frustrating to shoppers in a hurry. However, if you have more time than money, you might like to spend an hour (or two) browsing this store.
Restrooms are very good, and are in the east wall.

I love this place because the prices are just great, but the staff are just so unfriendly and plain useless and unhelpful that you really kind of have to attack the store and where everything is yourself. Good prices but crappy staff. If your someone who needs an associate to hold your hand during shopping, this place may not be for you, however if you like to shop uninterrupted you may like this place.

This was my first time going to a Burlington Coat Factory. We don’t have any in Hawaii, so I was some what excited to go. The commercials always talk about getting AMAZING coats for half off… There was a supposed storm heading to Huntsville. We decided we needed to get some coats because we were going to a banquet that night. I’ll have to say that this review is purely based on coats, nothing else.
I was anxious to see how cheap the coats were here. I’ve been searching for a nice leather (can be faux, I’m not too picky) that FIT well. When my friend and I headed to the female coat section, I was a bit overwhelmed. There were rows and rows of different types of coats. I wasn’t too keen on buying a «coat» being that I lived in HI, and I can’t see myself needing to use a coat. I looked around at coats that I thought were relatively nice. I looked at the price tag and was COMPLETELY blown away. $ 170! I know that’s probably A LOT cheaper than what I would have spent had I bought it from a department store, but come on. $ 170? Why would I spend that much on a coat that I PROBABLY will never wear again because I live in Hawaii? The pricing didn’t get too much better. There were a few that were under $ 100, but the styles weren’t too nice. Managed to find a decent coat that was $ 35. My friend found one at $ 50. I also decided to check out the leather jacket section thinking I might find a steal… NOPE. The jackets were still pricey, AND the styles weren’t too nice.
Maybe we just went in on a off day where their stock wasn’t updated. I was disappointed with their coat section. If I find one again, I’m definitely going to have to stop by again to give it another shot and another review.
