Not impressed!!! After we were seated it took a while before we got to order drinks. I ordered a salad with my meal they never brought it. They did however offer us a free dessert. I will not be going back

Where to start… $ 75 of garbage — that’s a good starting point. The service was good and I thank the server for trying her best to make it right.
We ordered the «Crab and Artichoke Dip» and it was unedible. I’m pretty sure the salt shaker, or even the Dead Sea, had less salt. They replaced it with the stuffed mushrooms. While significantly better the mushrooms had no taste. When I was ordering the «Outlaw Ribeye» I asked what the parmesan spinach entailed and instead of telling me the server writes it down, says «good choice,» and walks off — that’s the only strike against her. Btw the parmesan spinach is terrible — that’s not the cooks fault but because I don’t like cooked spinach only raw. I’m still disappointed i didn’t get a choice in the side though.
What finally turned an unfortunate experience into a bad one was when the rib eye arrived. It was an 18oz and expensive. Of the «18oz» I got about 5 bites because it was almost entirely fat and bone. Obviously I was pissed by this point and ready to leave. I ended up taking my son to the car to let my wife finish her meal and pay the bill — I was too pissed to stay.
Maybe the experience was a fluke but too many things were bad for me to return.

Amazing steaks! I have to say I wasn’t sure if I was going like it but it was way better then expected! We ordered a filet & a ribeye — they were very tender & delicious!

Food is good and fast. Bartender wasn’t friendly at all. Strike two for this chain. I’ve had a bad experience before.

Excellent service, excellent food. Had 40 minutes before the movie started, so sat at the bar (looked to be a 10 – 15 minute wait). Barkeep Lulu took care of me promptly, introduced me to the other barkeep (didn’t catch her name), had my drink in less than 1 with warm bread & butter. Caesar salad shortly after that, and before salad was gone I had my perfectly cooked med. rare sirloin with sweet potato. Smiles all around from workers, and made it to the movie on time. Without gobbling. Which was tempting, the food was that good. Thanks, Lulu and friend!

The New York strip I ordered was not a quality steak. It was more than marbled. It was not a quality meat. Also, I got the sea salt topper. It was right when the version of that steak came out. Not sure impressed. It was some cold sauce they put on it. Maybe it was done wrong? Not sure. The waitress and appetizer and my wife’s chicken was amazing!!!

Every time I come down to visit my boyfriend we somehow end up going here. We’ve never had a bad meal here. The service is usually quick. (we’ve only had one waiter who was pretty slacking on service) Neither one of us have ever had complaints.

It’s official the Texas Longhorn is my favorite place for steak, after eating there three times I’ve never been disappointed. Tonight We were hungrier than usual so I ordered the 30oz porterhouse for two. They prepared the steak sauce right at your table with rosemary and all the other spices mixed together it smelled like love. So my wife and I did our best to polish it off together but fortunately it was more like a ⁶⁰⁄₄₀ split to my favor, thanks honey.

Soooooo! I guess this is not the place to come for Happy Hour! It is 4:30! Got here at 4:00 which is the time Happy Hour starts! Have only been given one drink which I had to ask for! The bartender got here 5 minutes pass her shift. She wasn’t in a good mood! Never asked if we needed anything else! This is NOT the place to come for Happy Hour at all! You are better off going to Bar Louie where you can get great food and great service! It is now 4:35 and I am closing my tab since they don’t want to sell anymore drinks! Oh and by the way, there are only 3 people sitting at the bar besides us two so it’s not like they are busy! WTF???
It’s 4:40 and she still hasn’t taken my payment or acknowledged me!
It’s 4:45pm!!! Ignored!
Just got asked by the guy bartender if we are ready for our checks! Not if we want another drink! WTF??? This place is a dive!!!

Folks at Longhorn have apologized for the delay and are sending gift card as an apology. I’ll be returning again as I do like Longhorn very well.

We enjoyed Sunday dinner here today. The wife and I split an entrée, and the waiter gave us an extra salad for free. Food and service were prompt.
Our guest brought a $ 4 off coupon, which we were able to use.

I haven’t been here for while and this restaurant has been remodeled within the past few years. The springs in the booth seats used to all worn out and it felt like you were sitting in a hole but these have been replaced with new seats.
We stopped there for lunch on a Saturday. They don’t offer the regular lunch menu on the weekend that they have during the weekdays, but they still bring out only the lunch size half loaf of bread.
We ordered our meals with a twist in ingredients (minus this and sub that) and they got it all wrong. But they fixed it.

Good service and good food. I enjoyed it.

Unfortunately, in this area there are few choices other than your standard family dining big box Restaurants.
The food at this longhorn was fine, comparable to all the others I have visited, but only slightly less of quality.
I would say that our server was nice, but he kept running by saying things like «I’ll be right there! Have to check on this party!» and had a good sweat going.
He never recommended or offered anything, but he was just attentive enough to keep the table from turning into a mess (although I had to go to the host stand for flatware). I would have liked to know that you could get an extra large wine pour for a small up charge, definitely would have done that…
At some point I saw a manager, moving slow, and he told some bs tale to the table behind us about their meal being messed up. No way they believed it.
Then I noticed that the party our server was referring to came in at the same time as us, meaning that one server was given at least 13 guests to handle at one time.
The restroom was trashed, which I find completely unacceptable. I went in there at 8pm, so when was the last time it had been checked? Also the lights were full blast our whole time there.
Basically low marks for poor management. Not paying attention to the floor, the tables, the servers, the facilities.

I should know that if I go to a steak house seafood should not be my first choice but it usually is regardless. I ordered the shrimp skewers and was very disappointed. I got one skewer with a handful of rice, from previous experience at other longhorns I was surprise of the amount of food or lack of it. The shrimp was good, the rice was ok. I ordered to go and it didn’t take too long to get my food.

It was my first time to a LongHorn Steakhouse. The wait of 45 minutes was to be expected seeing how almost everyone eats out at the same time in Huntsville. Once we were seated, our server told us about the specials and gave us the rundown. She was very nice and didn’t forget about us after we got our food and drink. I ordered my New York Strip medium well and got it cooked just right. It wasn’t over salted as some of the other reviews mentioned. My green beans were still crunchy but needed salt (nothing serious) and my mashed potatoes were fine. I loved the bread they kept refilling (honey wheat?). I would definitely go back with friends. No special occasion needed.

Good food… Service was a little slower than expected. Overall, the meal was great!

I went here expecting little more than a beer and a steak. Being from Texas I thought to myself, surely they will have at least Lonestar beer if nothing else. Of course they didn’t, they were like any other chain restaurant… No real craft beers and absolutely no Texas beers. Hell this place did not even have local Huntsville beers…
The waitress was uninformed about the menu and when I asked about the beer selection, she was clueless.
The food was ok for stuff being drowned in butter.
It was a good reminder of why I do not enjoy corporate dining experiences. If in Huntsville go to pauli’s bar and grill or something local.

If you like steak that has been cooked in a vat of butter, then this is your place. The steak really was not cooked well at all and the side of «grilled» shrimp that I ordered were really sauteed shrimp. The sides were just passable. The review above that warns about over-​salting was true too. Bleh!
We had a waiter who was new, inattentive, messed up our orders, and was extremely inattentive. Did I say inattentive? I meant so say that he flat-​out ignored us. We were left waiting after ordering drinks for about 15 minutes for the initial order and 20 minutes for the second round, and we only got the second because we flagged him down and reminded him about it. One of our party had to reorder his course because the waiter forgot about it (even though he wrote it down). We attempted to flag him down for our check a few times spanning 30 minutes, he said he would be back a couple of those times, and we eventually got another waiter to come over, who seemed put out that we were bothering him too.

Food is good but the service is poor. They asked me to wait 20 min for a seat when half the restaurant was empty. This was at 7 pm.
