Went here 2 or 3 weeks after their grand open. The place was clean and tidy, lots and lots of people both customers and workers. It seemed like all that was just a show because I couldn’t even get what I was looking for! The worker was nice. He tried to help but he didn’t know 1) where the hell they put their stuff, 2) how operate their ordering system on the computer and 3) how else to help me. I was looking for a knife. They had on the display case. He called to the back to bring out a new one. After 15 minutes, he went back to check with them after no response. Another 10 minutes, he came back and said the knives are actually on the floor. We walked up and down a couple aisles, finally found the rack. Lord be hold, the knives weren’t on the rack. The pricetag was there but no knives. He kept saying the computer said they have 5 in stock. Nope, they were apparantly invisible knives… He suggested to order via their computer. First, that damn thing was place like 50 feet into the air for girraffe neck. He and I had to tilt our head all the way back to just look at it lol. He fumbled through the touch screen after another 10 – 15 minutes. At first he said they can deliver ot the store so I don’t need to pay shipping. But nope, he found out that they can’t ship to the store; IDK if he did it right or not. So what was the point of me shopping and ordering the store if I end up paying shipping anyways. Then he suggested to sell me the display one. I asked for a discount since it had no box and had a sticky sticker residue. He went off for at least 5 minutes to talk to the manager and came back with 5% off. I was like, shiiiit, nevermind, good bye. After almost an hour, I left empty handed, with a freaking headache, and racking my brain for a new gift idea. Thanks for nothing Cabela’s. Train your people better, being smiley and carrying a pad aren’t very helpful. Oh and put your shit where your crappy computer says so or vice versa…

Absolutely one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by an employee who asked if we were looking for anything specific. When I said boots and archery, he escorted us all the way back to the shoe department and introduced us to one of the specialists back there. Once we finished, we headed over to the archery section. Hunter L helped us immediately. We explained that my boyfriend wanted to buy me a bow and that we were looking for something with a wide range of adjustment. He recommended a bow, and then took my measurements to ensure the fit was right. We picked out the bow and he passed us off to Matthews(I think it’s his last name, but that’s what was on his name tag). He set up the bow for me and made sure everything was tuned in to my measurements and needs. I then got to go to the range and try out shooting a compound bow for the first time ever. Matthews was very helpful with tips and tricks, and kept adjusting the bow to the poundage which worked best for me. He also made sure it was sighted in properly and made adjustments for my groupings. After finishing the bow adjustments, Matthews helped me pick out all the accessories I would need for my hunt. This included arrows, broad heads, and a new whisker biscuit. He swapped out the whisker biscuit for the one I wanted and made sure the bow was sighted in properly again. He cut down my arrows so they were the proper size for me. He also checked out the case I wanted to make sure the bow fit inside properly. My boyfriend also brought in his bow, and Matthews helped him make adjustments after firing a few arrows down the range. I’ve never been bow hunting, or even shot a compound bow before. The Cabela’s staff, especially Matthews, were knowledgeable and patient with my beginner skills. It was an absolute pleasure to shop here. I would definitely recommend them in the future!

We have visited this location a few times since they opened. and every time we enjoy our shopping experience. Even on the busiest of days, like today, when they allowed trick-or-treating for children, the staff was nothing short of fabulous. They are attentive, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of their merchandise. They were just as happy to see us as we were happy to be there! We girls had a great time trying out the bows… so much fun! Can’t wait to visit again!
