Chuck E. Cheese’s

So I saw these reviews when I moved here about 5 months ago and was a bit concerned about going there with my kids. Sounded like a not so nice place in a war zone — BUT I wanted to post this message for those who may be dissuaded by others reviews. IGNORE them!
I am a upper middle class, white guy with 2 little boys who love going and playing the games, which at 20 cents a token and game is a great, cheap way to have fun! And while that part of town, is a lot of strip malls and not a beauty queen. it is not bad at all — and the inside of the place and games are all great! No clue what that person was complying about.
No clue what the person complaining about the pizza is talking about. Maybe 3 or 4 years ago Chuck E had a different pizza or something — b/​c me and people who have come with us all say — the pizza is REALLY good. And They can’t believe it actually is. LOL
The place is GREAT, cheap, and kids have fun. I always try and go early, to beat any crowd and play some games, order our food, and then eat…
Staff are a somewhat mixed bag, but never had a bd experience… and always get a nice welcome from the older white guy who appears to be the manager.
So go — enjoy and have some fun!

I grew up having parties there when it was Showbiz pizza, now my kids have their parties there. It’s actually pretty far from where I live, but its a real treat for my kids. This place IS in a horrible location. However, it has been there long before the location was horrible and what can they do? Build a bubble around itself? Once you go inside, you forget the bad area. The staff is awesome there. Some of the best customer service I have seen in Huntsville and Madison combined. I gladly give them my business, their turnover seems low, so I have been seeing the same staff there for years since I started taking my kids. The pizza is nothing special, but it has a good salad bar and I don’t go there for the food. Parties are also stellar there. It is a great value and they handle everything; setup, serving, party entertainment, and cleanup. You get to just enjoy the party with your child and take pictures! We have their parties there every years and will continue to do so.

It’s a very good chuck e cheese, the only cons I have: it’s located in not the best area, and if you get $ 10 of tokens, you usually only get what you can use $ 2 to buy. And I wish my son would stop throwing celery at the ice cream machine, thinking ice cream would pop out! ;)

Food always sucks… but hey the kids love it for their birthday parties…

Chuck E Cheese in this location is pretty horrible for many reasons. First off, the neighborhood isn’t what you call friendly. I know, personally that this location has been rob before. Not only that, everyday, the parking lot is cover with trash from the night before. Once you enter it, you enter a world throwdown into the early 90’s. The arcade games has yet to be updated. Then there is the food. The pizzas are not the best, the cheese is a downgrade to normal cheese. One of the very worst pizzas to get is a half and half BBQ, and Tomato Sause pizza. It will make you sick, for sure. The only good thing to get is the sandwiches and the salad bar. The building has open holes in the wall, who knows if there are rats living in there. Yikes, they really need to upgrade this location.
