The donuts are stale, and when I asked the person behind the counter, she was very confusing. I told her a donut was stale, and she said they were from«last night». She said the donuts were thrown out after 18 hours. So, when I’m asking at 5pm what«last night» means, I’m them told they are from this morning. Very vague and evasive, if you ask me… and at the end, i still had two different stale cake donuts, with no effort to try and fix the situation. Add in that it seems there is always someone new at the register who is clearly still in training, it’s just not a great experience!

I’m new to DD, so unlike the previous reviews, I’m a tabula rasa. The service here has much improved since the other reviews. Staff are friendly, courteous, and upbeat. Maybe the manager read the reviews and actually took action(yay, Unilocalers!). The donut I had was terrific; I could’ve eaten a dozen of them(the«Manager’s Special» — white cream filled with chocolate icing on top. There was lots of filling — yum! I didn’t know, through the drive-thru, that they had several choices of bagels. I assumed they only had plain, because the menu board doesn’t list them. They do, in fact, have bagel choices. The unsweet tea was just bad. Bad. Bad. The sandwiches on the menu make me want to return to try them. An open faced tuna melt?! I haven’t had that since I was a kid. Hope it’s as good as I remember them. While DD hasn’t blown me away, it’s 3-star AOK.

This location always gets my order wrong. Today I ordered a chicken ranch bacon sandwich and they instead gave me a sausage egg and cheese bagel. Always slow service.

I have to agree with the other reviewer, the two Huntsville Dunkin Donuts, which I’m assuming are likely run by the same folks, are just TERRIBLE. I’m a HUGE fan of DD, was so excited to see them opening in Huntsville, but whomever has this franchise needs some serious re-schooling. I’ve ordered the basic chocolate cake donut at both locations — my all time favorite DD item — and have literally thrown both away after the first bite. At Memorial Parkway, the issue was the donut wasn’t COOKED! It also had a seriously off-taste, I can’t describe it except to say it just didn’t have ANY real taste, certainly nothing even reminiscent of chocolate. I visited the Jones Valley last week, thinking it’d be better? Nope… the donut was also barely cooked through and had zero taste. I took one bite and spit it back out. Horrible. I had such high hopes for these, but I won’t visit one again. I actually live in Decatur, and hope if DD ever makes it across the bridge it is owned by someone else who will pay more attention to quality.

It’s a new store, so service is a bit slow. That is to be expected. The turkey sausage muffin was great! I could have eaten two. The donuts? Can’t be beat! Yummy! I still prefer Starbucks coffee, though. I WANT to like Dunkin coffee better … It’s cheaper! But I seem to be a diehard Starbucks coffee girl… The hubby agrees. I’ll always be by for donuts!!!
