I bought my dress from them. They told me they had ordered my dress in a size 0, I questioned them about it since I didn’t think I was a size zero but they reassured me that I was. After I picked my dress up and took it home, I tried it on and realized it was WAY too small and didn’t fit like the sample size. I took it in to be altered and there wasn’t anything she could do, my wedding day is less than a month away and I am stuck with a dress that does not fit.

Finery has several beautiful dresses but if you’re looking to enjoy your appointment and try on more than just a few dresses in your hour long appointment, look elsewhere. First off, there was supposed to be a trunk show on the day of my appointment that I was told about when I called the store the week earlier to make my appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, no one mentioned a trunk show, and there were so few dresses in the store I can’t imagine they had a trunk show going on. Also, the amount of dresses was surprising. If they had more than 15 – 20 gowns in the store, I would be shocked. I thought they would have a much wider selection of dresses, especially with the trunk show. The girl assisting me wasted a lot of time in the dressing room by waiting on me to completely take the dresses off and hang them up before she ever got me another dress. I could have tried on several more gowns if she hadn’t been so slow. Finally, what was so frustrating was about half way through the hour long appointment, I think both girls working decided that I was not going to buy a dress from there, which was not true, I was interested in one dress in particular. They went from being slightly helpful to rude and abrupt. The last 30 mins of my appointment were horrible because they had given up and were unwilling to help. I left my appointment several minutes early because their lack of quality service and unprofessionalism. I ended up purchasing a gown that day at another boutique in Huntsville where the quality and quantity of dresses was larger and the customer service was incredible. Basically, this store has a very limited supply of gowns and the girls need more skills in customer service and professionalism.

Love love love this store. I’ve been to several dress boutiques and this was by far my favorite. Madeline and Tracy were incredible to work with. They are friendly, laid back and knowledgeable — we felt like we were playing dress up with our friends. The boutique is clean, modern and beautifully decorated. They also provide you with these adorable robes to wear when you’re in between dresses. While they don’t have a plethora of dresses to choose from, the dresses they do carry are of great quality and they’re different — you’re not going to find a dress that looks just like a dress your friends walked down the aisle in.
