Frizzle’s

4 Stars only because their service really was outstanding and with the groupon I had, it was a great deal (lots of food for how much i ended up paying)!
Service: They created a coffee slush/​frappé just for me!!! so even if something isnt on their menu, they might be willing to put it together for you too! Also, when they realized that they unfortunately had no more jalapenos, they offered to switch it out to a different item or add some chili to it (because I would not have been a fan of pure chips with fake melted cheese) on top. So really sweet though a tad slow at least that early in the morning. They definitely weren’t all setup at 1030 in the morning yet.
Price: I got the 5 for 6. 1) Their onion rings were pretty good. 2) Their chicken wrap was also pretty good though I wasn’t a big fan of the ranch? sauce in it. 3) I went at around 1030 and unfortunately, they didn’t have ice cubes in their machine yet. Also their tea machine was broken, so they had the tea sitting in an outside canister. But can’t complain about their sweet/​unsweetened tea. They even had fresh lemon slices– though they could’ve been cut a bit smaller. 4) Nacho chips– at least in that deal, not a big fan at all but I don’t like the fake melted cheese. 5) Custard– my daughter loved it. I think I prefer ice cream.
Ambience: needs some work. It’s pretty old and run down, but their service was really great.
Would I return?: If I were to return (probably not since I don’t live here and I generally care way more about the food than service), I’d try their chicken tenders and their fish, which have gotten some good reviews. The chicken did seem like real chicken unlike some other establishments, so maybe this place is actually healthier than other fastfood chains?

It’s 10:30 a.m. on a Wednesday morning and I am calling to ask question about prices. The prices are not online. I am getting no answer and still trying after 11:00 which is when they are supposed to open. Someone is there because at one point they picked up and I heard nothing but numbers beeping in my ear. So i said HELLO! HELLO! and got no response. I tried again and it was busy. I tried yet again and NO ANSWER!
I decided to drive on over to see if they were open (ONLY because I had a Groupon). Yes they were. I told the lady about my efforts to reach them by phone, she was not concerned.
I went ahead and ordered the 4 piece fish and the 5-​n-​3 (5 wings and 3 chicken fingers). My co-​worker and I shared the 2 plates.
All was really good except for the $ 699 wings and fingers plate, but the size of the wings and chicken fingers, TINY! The price for the fish plate was good, you get 4 pretty good size fish.
Probably won’t go back, there is much better food and service around.

I only went here because I was driving through the area and I wanted a snack. Found them on Groupon and thought what the heck. Had the wings, hot dog, and chiller. The best things was the wings. Everything else I would never get again. My girlfriend didnt like the ice cream so much she just throw it out. Try it yourself you might like it. We will not be back again even with a Groupon. Staff is really nice.

They ran out of hamburger meat at noon. Manager walked off in the middle of my order to get meat leaving the rest of the staff in a lurch and creating a line out the door. Iced tea not made. 50% of the tables were not bussed. When the order came out they got it wrong. My expectation of portions and taste at an establishment like this is low, but this Frizzle’s just lowered the bar.

Fastfood joint, fastfood food quality, fastfood service. Nothing special or different than other chained. It’s more expensive than McD, but model after Zaxby’s (charged for extra sauce). Enough said :)

This is identical to a Dairy Queen. However Frizzles custard is way better! It is not cheap (tenders with fries and a concert will cost you around 12 – 14 $) but the concrete is a must! For a small it’s a little under 4 $, I have had almost all the flavored and my favorite is the banana split. Chunks of real banana, crushed pineapple, chocolate sauce, strawberries, and a cherry on top. I love it!

Thankful that I had a Groupon and only paid $ 4.80 for $ 10.00 of food here. First time here today. If I ever return, it’ll be to try the frozen custard and nothing else.
It was hot and humid inside the restaurant. The floors were sticky. I wasn’t surprised to see their food safety rating as an ⁸⁵⁄₁₀₀. Oy.
Opted for the chicken tenders, since that’s their specialty. Also got onion rings, because I can’t pass up onion rings… ever.
Unfortunately they were cooked in fryer oil that needs changed, resulting in a burnt tasting, chewy mess. I pulled the onions out and threw away the breading. $ 2.99 is high for this small portion (see photo).
The tenders, which the manager raved were hand breaded right there, were cooked in the same old oil. The only flavor they had was «burnt». Once again I peeled off the breading. Inside was juicy tenders — surprise! They were small, but had potential. The fries that came with the tenders were somehow undercooked and raw in the middle. If they are going to serve fried food, please learn how to fry food.
Saw an employee in the kitchen drop a stack of napkins. I watched her pick them up and wondered if she’d throw them away or keep them to use. As I suspected, she put them right on the counter to use. When she saw me watching, she moved the stack out of my sight, but not into the trash.
‘Nuff said.

Just had their strawberry shortcake supreme and that is probably one of the best sundaes I’ve had. My only regret is that it was too big for me to finish

Just another fast food restaurant. Their custard is pretty good and their food is decent. The restaurant is usually clean and the staff is nice, ive seen them fighting before though, seems like not all of them get along. Nothing special.

I had to wait almost 15 minutes in the drive-​through line behind 1 car for an ice cream that cost over $ 5 and was quite small. It tasted ok though.

Another Dairy Queen «clone» with soft-​served custard, instead of soft-​served ice cream.
Classic DQ short-​order grill items (like chicken fingers, hot dogs, burgers) are much better than the typical fast food fair from the national chains.
This particular location has a flat screen TV visible to most of the dinning room.

The reason I was impressed with this place you ask? They have 3 types of chicken fingers… regular, buffalo, and grilled. A fast food place with grilled fingers? That’s awesome. Even more awesome is that they when I ordered a 4 piece basket they let me get two buffalo and two grilled. The fries were kind of soggy. I’ve not tried the famous custard.
This is very similar to a Dairy Queen. They have 3 locations: Huntsville, Moulton, and Boaz. I kind of wish there were one close to my home.

The custard is really good. Never tried the food, but I went here to try an Oreo concrete and I wasn’t disappointed. Make sure you are a little bit hungry when you go though, because it’s very filling.
