This place has the best food and best price. We came here for dinner. Had Chinese, Japanese and Mongolian style food. It even had shrimp, fish and crabs for dinner.

After reading the reviews I still tried this buffet out and I should have listened. The food was subpar. It was bland. The rice was horrible. The food wasn’t very warm either. The best part of the meal was my tea. My daughters disliked the food as well.

Thoroughly enjoyed their food, hot and fresh! My favorite is the Hot & Sour Soup and their banana pudding. Friendly attentive staff

New China Super Buffet, I’m breaking up with you. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, not glass. Yes, it would’ve been romantic to bite into that spoonful of food and find a diamond, but alas, it was glass. I could list the many more reasons you’re not good enough for me, but the photo should be enough for you to understand why I’m leaving and will never return. Best wishes.

Was in Huntsville today and I was super hungry, so I dropped into New China Super Buffet IIl. 2nd time I’ve been there this year, honestly, I shouldn’t have given this place a second chance(but like I said, was super hungry and I was nearby). Sup-par to average Chinese food(at best). Not sure why this place gets so packed at lunch though, guess a lot of people living in Huntsville don’t know what good Chinese food is. I won’t make the same mistake three times.

Close your eyes and walk into any Chinese Buffet anywhere in the US, open your eyes and viola! That’s what you have at the New China Super Buffet. Albeit I must give them props for service and cleanliness. The food was ok but not out of this world. I found it rather odd though that they serve Fried Plantains on the buffet line along with Mac and Cheese??? Huh? Other props go to them for having a Hibachi Grill and Fresh Sushi station. Although I do not eat Sushi, that’s why God made fire, the pieces did look nice. As far as the Hibachi bar I did not have any cash to tip the cook so opted to pass. However the selection of ingredients looked fresh and tasty and they had a great variety of items to choose from. The food from the standard line was OK I guess but, I have had better in Huntsville/Madison. My server was great, I did not get his name, but he was on it, water, tea, clean plates, etc… Parking is a treat as it appears that it was planned for mini/micro cars. Overall the price was good if all you’re looking for is bulk. I plan on returning once more to sample the Hibachi Grill and will update my review then. As of this writing it’s OK but I would not make a special trip to visit…

We tried this place as it is newly renovated and you had a chance to win a tv. The first time we went for lunch and the food was great and the price was well worth it. The other day we went for dinner and was very disappointed. It was nothing special, had same items as lunch, but they still charge you $ 3.00 more than the lunch buffet. We won’t be going back for dinner. Lunch, maybe?

This place has an awesome selection of sushi on the buffet. The price was GREAT and everything else I tried was very good as well. I will be back every time I’m in town!

My mother introduced me to this place several years ago and I eat here at least once each time I visit. I really enjoy their food. They have a great selection of American Chinese as well as some American Korean, and American Japanese food as well(be sure to check out my pictures). The restaurant is always clean, and the food is fresh and constantly being changed out to remain that way. One of my favorite offerings is the fresh sushi that is made on site. You can either take pieces from the buffet or you can order whole sushi rolls from the chef. They have fresh wasabi and pickled ginger as sushi condiments. My two favorites are the Spicy Tuna roll and the Spicy Eal roll. Yes, they do take your glass to refill, but other restaurants, including some major chains(i.e. Red Robin) do that too, so it is no big deal. What is good, is that the waitresses do not let your glass go empty and make you wait forever for your next refill like so many other places. Parking can be an issue, but the quality and value of the food far outweighs the issue of cramped parking. As a reserve/national guard military officer, I get to travel quite a bit, and I have to say this is one of the best Chinese Buffets I have ever eaten at. None of the Chinese Buffets around the Baltimore or Aberdeen Proving Grounds area where I live can even touch this place.

Food was fair, had to spit out the salmon. Meat was tough. Too expensive for a standard asian buffet. Sushi was tasty and the service was good.

Typical Chinese buffet that’s been«americanized» to suit the masses. God forbid if you have a large vehicle, you’ll barely be able to get into the parking lot, it’s such a tight squeeze maneuvering in there. Food is ok, although a bit salty all around. Seeing unattended children sticking their fingers into things at the buffet really set me off. That is just completely unacceptable. They kept the drinks filled for our group of 9, but committed the ultimate sin in my book for refilling your drink, they took the glasses from the table. Bring me a fresh glass of whatever I ordered and don’t touch the one I have in front of me until I’m finished. I came here with friends under a suggestion we all meet here since it was near everyone, but I wouldn’t actively seek this place out on my own, it’s just not up to my standards…

New China is one of the better American Chinese restaurants in Huntsville I think. My family reguarly visits here since they opened in this location. I love the«dinner and a show» I call it. I love going here just to watch everyone run for the crab legs when they bring them out! Seriously, it can get quite hilarious! My mom is Korean and grew up eating lots of fresh seafood so she’s 1) amongst the throngs of people running for crab legs and 2) gets stared at often for downing(always) at least 2 plates of oysters, muscles, crab legs, sushi, sashimi, a plate of regular food and another for dessert. Mind you if you saw my(tiny) mom and me, you’d think I’m the one who should be downing all that! Okay back to the point. They have the cult Chinese buffet items like fried rice, green beans, chicken on a stick, eggrolls, etc. But my mom thoroughly enjoys the seafood & the sushi bar. If you like seafood of the raw variety, I think this is a really good place to go to get your seafood on a budget. But please remember to tip the sushi guy, I’ve seen too many people just walk off and not leave him a tip. Think of him as an open bar at a wedding, yeah, he’s there to serve you, but you should still drop a dollar or two in the jar to keep them happy. The wait staff has always been very nice, the food is kept fresh most days. The restaurant is kept quite clean and there’s plenty of seating. At lunch it can be hard to get into the parking lot with the awkward parking and people not parking in proper spaces, but if you head in a little early you should be okay. Special days like Mother’s Day or Father’s Day they can get just as packed. So choose your timing wisely on those days, after church is usually the busiest time. Nothing particularly special about any dishes here, it’s an American Chinese restaurant with the usual things, but it’s one of the few places I really trust to be clean and not have old food on the line.

I love this place. Everything from the tacky name(I recommend Super Duper for their next restaurant) to the waitress that asks«whachu like drink?» Lunch buffet is king here, around $ 7.00 for all you can eat Chinese food. The selection is ginormous, similar establishments in the Hunstville area have selection that pales in comparison. Even though it isn’t Chinese, there is a guy who makes nigiri style sushi for you(I recommend you tip him though). This parking lot gets packed at lunch time. I had to park on the lawn like a straight thug; I didn’t care since it was my rental car. Best time to show up at this place is after 12:30 in the afternoon. PS they even accept American Express here! 3% cash back for eating out FTW!
