Really nice décor to enjoy a very good meal. Was in the mood for chili releno’s. The menu gives you a choice of one or two. One was more than adequate and under $ 10. The food came very quickly. The wife had the fish tacos. Under $ 10 as well. The wait staff was very attentive.

Went for lunch and very disappointed. Ordered #2 Trio and received a chicken enchilada– was fine and then my chalupa was a small green tortilla bowl upside down with little beans, lettuce, couple cubes of tomato n little sprinkle of cheese and to make it worse the cheese puff was another green tortilla bowl with small spoon of cheese in it — I will never go there again. Waitstaff was fine.

Good food, great sangria margaritas… price is good too. Don’t go there if you are looking for a quiet place to talk. I find it very noisy.

Queso is phenomenal. The chips and salsa are to die for. The fajitas are served perfectly.

Back again and no bad things to report. Only great food and excellent margaritas and service! Mixed fajitas were super satisfying. We came at off hours, but that had no effect on service or quality at all. Good value, great atmosphere. Salsa is real decent. Personally I prefer a spicy roasted pepper type salsa, but I realize that’s not for everybody. Strong recommended alternative to the el Salvadorian place in the same shopping center. Good broad menu of Tex mex traditional meals for a fair price.

Sunday nights driving home from a road trip always seem a difficult time to find a decent meal. We went slightly off the highway in hopes of trying another little joint that seemed to be doing some interesting rotisserie and pickled items but it was closed. Saw los pocaros down the way and it seemed a little dubious what with the fluorescent lighting and all but options were limited so in we went. What a nice surprise to discover, despite an alarmingly large menu, quite yummy made from scratch soup. You can tell a lot by the quality of the broth. Lovely fatty chickeny goodness. Also packed with veggies. Also had some simple cheese enchiladas and a chef special, some stewed meat with a ‘special’ sauce that was again that lovely made from scratch complexity. Quite pleasantly surprised and worth the extra mile or so off 45.

Presentation is 3 stars, Food looked good and Menu was exciting Food was 2.5 stars The sauce on the enchiladas was very pasty and dry. The fried avocado stuffed with beef and cheese was interesting and was the best thing on the plate, not great Iced tea was also good. Manager was a perfect gentleman. Overall hot sauce was greasy. Food was not very good.

One of the first restaurants I ate at after moving to Huntsville. I have yet to have a bad experience or meal there. The only problem I have ever come across is getting salt on the rim of my margarita when I asked for no salt. Highly recommend.

Stopped in for lunch on our way back to Dallas. Tried it out because the reviews on Unilocal said good things about it. This place definitely lived up to the hype. Please make sure to ask for the green salsa, it is excellent. Red salsa is good too. I had the lunch fajitas which were tender and flavorful. My wife had the cheese enchiladas and found them to be really good. Service was good. If you are passing through Huntsville and need a place to eat, you will not go wrong choosing this place.

I ate dinner hear back in December, after watching my brother lead a choir performance at a local elementary school. It was pretty standard Tex Mex. I had cheese enchiladas and they were good; not the best I’ve ever had, but good. Make sure you ask for the green sauce with your complimentary chips and(red) salsa. It’s really, really good green sauce. Service was friendly and attentive. Beverages came in huge glasses(which I liked!). I don’t live in the area, but when in Huntsville, I’d definitely eat at Los Pericos again.

The food here is good, the only thing which we had problems with was the wait staff. They seem to not know English very well. I had to tell them 4 times before he left to put the order in that we didn’t want lettuce and cheese on our tacos and it came out with lettuce and cheese. This can be corrected and the food was great.

This place was pretty good. It’s not amazing, but it’s decent food for a decent price. I’m not rushing to go back anytime soon, but I wouldn’t be opposed to it if someone else suggested it.

I go to Los Pericos weekly. I will tell you that I love Mexican food and eat at Mexican food places when I travel(all over Texas, mostly) and LP’s is hands down the greatest. The soups, fried avocados, salsa, queso, chips, enchilada, fajitas, and specials of the day are amazing. Margaritas are nearly the cheapest in town($ 2.99) and ONE will have you feeling pretty good. TWO margaritas and you’re good to go for the night(or day). Great friendly staff. Makes you feel welcome and always gets my order right. I recommend to everyone.

Awful. Sauce on the chicken enchiladas tasted like ketchup. Taco wasn’t bad. Salsa wasn’t bad either. Service was the worse that I have ever seen. Apparently there is a smoking section. First the waiter had to ask me what i ordered 5 times. I gave him number, thats right a number, you order by number and he couldn’t grasp it. I ordered water and the check came with a coke on it. I asked them to take it off and they started arguing with me on it until the manager came out and gave me cash to cover the drink.

The salsa was not only watered down but had a layer of grease on it that rivaled the face of a teenager. We ordered queso to help boost the sauce but, upon tasting it, realized they had just charged us 5 $ for badly melted Velvee

After a long day of driving from TN, by the time I arrived to Huntsville, I was extremely hungry. It was getting late… and so I knew I had to find something. I knew since I was in the land of amazing Mexican Food and BBQ, I knew my dinner had to be one of these. My husband and I drove past this place and decided to turn around and try it. There were plenty of cars so we knew we found a good place. Service was a little slow for someone to take our order… but once the food was ordered… the service was fast. Food was amazing compared to the stuff that is suppose to be «Mexican» food up in the north such as Ohio and Connecticut. Oh boy… I am here in town for the next four days… and I could honestly see my husband and I going there everyday for dinner. haha
