My husband and I got stuck sitting at the truck stop waiting on a load for the night, so we decided to check this place out. The inside is fairly small, or at least the main dining room is. They have a separate room for parties and whatnot. We both got a trip to the salad bar with our meals and it was really fresh and quite a few basic options for the price. I’d actually dare say it’s better than what you’d see at Ruby Tuesday anymore. I got the blackened grilled catfish sandwich, which tasted pretty good and at a reasonable price. My husband got the blackened chicken Alfredo, which was pretty tasty, but was too small of a portion for the price. I also think the Alfredo tasted like it came out of a jar sadly. However, the food came out pretty fast, so that was a plus. Our server was nice for the most part, but was a bit snooty at times, probably because she was just rushing around to everyone. I’d eat here again if I passed through this way again.

Thanks for the tough, flavorless 6 ounce sirloin that consisted of 3 ounces of fat. Would have told the server but he never checked on us.

This is our FAVORITE Place to bring Everybody — kids, extended family, work colleagues — literally Everybody. This is not a fancy fru fru place that serves more plate than food. Oh! Bryan’s serves REALFOOD at Reasonable Prices. We love this place! While the salad bar is small, it is the best in Huntsville, meticulously and constantly maintained. Steaks are always prepared perfectly and served with Texas toast and a side. But we are fans of their chicken strips prepared however you like them — fried, grilled, spicy, or plain. Our picky little ones always get their crayons and coloring page with an ideal kids menu and are always served foods that they actually eat! Staff are all friendly and helpful and drinks are never empty. We are here 3 – 4 times a month and gladly wait the 15 – 20 minutes to be seated when we bring a larger group. It is a pleasure to rely on this establishment and I hope it never changes.

The ribeye steak was nothing fancy, but sufficiently sized and flavorful. I was ignorantly surprised that this establishment does not sell alcohol. Staff was friendly, service was prompt.

First time here, pleasant staff. The Sirloin was the worst I’ve had in a long time, it was tough over cooked and no flavor, they made me another stoll sane issue. Very disappointed for a steak place.

Great local place. It’s usually busy, which should be a good indicator. We go at least once a week! They have the best catfish ever, which I compare against anyone else’s and always come back here. The staff knows us by name at this point, and we know a few of the people from school. The atmosphere is retro, with records and metal signs covering the walls. The staff all works together to make sure everything is always clean. The catfish is my favorite, but I have also enjoyed the Cajun pasta and grilled chicken breast. My boyfriend will go for the catfish, chicken tenders, or Appalachian special. We’ve also tried all of the appetizers with no disappointment, our preference being the fried mushrooms. If you have any questions, the staff will happily tell you some favorites and are always collectively attentive; you don’t have to wait for your server, one is always around to help! Take-out is a cinch as well. Same quality and portions as in-house, and ready in only 15 minutes, every time! Go a little early so you can be sure to get a quick seat at a truly fantastic place!

I was in the area with a coworker and decided to have lunch there per his advice. I ordered the Lunch Ribeye(rare) with a baked potato. It was very good. It came with a slice of toast which was nothing special. The ribeye was cooked as I ordered but had a large chunk of fat in the middle of the cut. Not a dealbreaker considering it was for lunch but still was a negative. The baked potato was cooked well, not too dry or too moist. The service was good for lunch rush. I really liked the atmosphere. Nice and dark and quiet. It has the feel of an old timey Southern family restaurant that you just don’t see anymore. It definitely adds to the experience. All in all I liked Oh! Bryans. If I’m ever in the area I would stop in and eat again if I had the time but I wouldn’t go out of my way and drive that far to eat there.

This is a country steak restaurant. Being here reminded me of places I went with my family in rural Mississippi. Simplicity is the key word here. The salad bar features all of the basics you see on salad bars everywhere, I have to give some kudos for the fact that everything appeared fresh. The cover over the salad bar is decorated with 70’s era lunch boxes, Dukes of Hazzard, plus some super hero things. On the wall overhead is a collection of Albumn covers from the same era, Foreigner, Boston, Ted Nugent plus more. The menu is pretty much what you would expect, do not expect a high end steak presentation in either the steak or the preparation. But that is not what these folks are trying to be… Not a bad option.
