Don’t let the parking lot fool you. this place has been completely renovated! Staff are very sweet and accommodating. We got the best deal on , and it’s only rated 2 stars on there. but this is definitely a 5 star. They let us check in early, because we made it in town early. Rooms are very clean, nice flat screen tv & great channel selection, very comfortable beds, rooms have microwave & mini refrigerator, iron/board, air conditioning cools fast. They do not offer breakfast and the WiFi is sketchy.. But that doesn’t bother me. If we’re ever in Huntsville again, this is where we will stay! The rooms are sound proof, also. you don’t have to worry about hearing what your neighbors are watching on tv/doing in their room vice-versa.

Stayed here over the weekend while visiting family. The rooms were kept clean. I liked the tall showerhead and the interesting sink design. The staff seemed to have it together. PK at the front desk was very friendly and receptive to requests. Very good value.

My husband and I stayed the weekend(Oct. 10 – 12, 2014) at this hotel. We were in town to go to the SHSU football game with our son and all other hotels were booked up. This was the worse experience we have had at a hotel and we travel a lot. This place is very rundown, out dated, dirty, stinks and was not safe. Our room was disgusting! The floors were gross, the edges by the walls looked they hadn’t been cleaned in years. I hated that our dogs had to walk on them. There were burn marks in the bathroom and on the remote. The room reeked of smoke, we had to go to Wal Mart and buy febreze to try to get rid of the smell but it didn’t help much. The bedding was very old and not comfortable. The chairs in our room were stained. We were traveling with our 2 small dogs who are very well behaved. When I booked our stay online it stated that pets were allowed on request, so I noted in our reservation that they were coming with us. When we were checking in they told us dogs are not allowed, we had no option but to pay the outrageous $ 20 per day per dog fee, $ 80 for 2 dogs at this nasty hotel! We have stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels with our dogs and the most we ever paid was $ 25 for the whole stay for both! I feel like they should have called me when they saw I was bringing the dogs if they weren’t allowed. They had signs everywhere stating that not pets were allowed. Not only was this hotel gross it didn’t feel save, there is no exterior lock to the entrance into the hall, anyone off the street could just walk right in. The door to our room didn’t always lock, we found this out when we were in the room and our son came over to visit us and he just walked right in, we thought the door was locked. This happened twice. There were some pretty scary looking people staying at this hotel, my husband wouldn’t let me take the dogs out for walks alone. People were fighting right outside of our window Saturday. This hotel shares a parking lot with a Dairy Queen and a iffy looking store. My husband has been a police officer for 20 years and he was worried about us staying at this hotel. I could go on but I think you get the point. DON’T STAYHERE!
