Wow this place is amazing! Great deals on drinks, excellent music, and just a fun time, come with friends and that will make it amazing.

Sammy T’s is so obviously racist, it’s funny. I think I was let in with my friends during our AAMU years because we were young women and maybe light skin. I think Black women are ok there though. I remember one night the bouncers had so many reasons not to let our male friends in, something about their jeans being too«baggy.» That’s pretty much their reputation at AAMU and Oakwood.(this is not a black tie club. It’s come as you are, so turning you down for dress just depends on who you are.) My brother is down in Huntsville now and recently texted me to say he finally got in. LOLOL Shame that we have to put our pride aside to party in a place that won’t let everyone in for the sake of fun. Wouldn’t do it again. Other than that, Sammy T’s is actually a pretty fun club. .

The club is only really busy on Thursday nights and they play like house/techno/drum in base dj style stuff. The club allows 18 and over with 21 year olds getting a bracelet for drinks. Cover charge was $ 5 to get in, and another $ 10 got you all you can drink really weak mixed well drinks. Dance floor was packed, but lots of girls with their guys, and lots of guys who go out on the dance floor and just stand there. Dj should kick non-dancing guys off the dance floor, because that’s annoying. They got the fog machines, rave style lighting, and confetti that blows out onto the dance floor. Routine intoxicated fights at 2 am when club shuts down are always intertwining. Club is ok I guess for Huntsville, what else is out there?

I’ve been there a few times and it’s an ok establishment mainly because so many people are there but the music is mediocre, they are VERY strict about the dresscode but when it comes to me, they try not to let me in not because of how I dress but how I look, i’m an above average guy in looks so for instance this past Saturday the bouncer at the door told me that I had gotten into a confrontation with some random guy when in reality I had just arrived downtown and it was so absurd that I lol so he said that«a guy in a red shirt with dreads» that somehow happened to be me was not allowed in. So afterwards my ladies and myself went across the way to Fubar and turned up. So if you’re visiting Hsv and are looking for a good time I would HIGHLY suggest avoiding this place just to skip the pointless drama especially if you’re a young professional, eduacted, good looking, and are from a more mainstream city, state, or town.

Good Luck getting in if you’re black! My coworkers and I were turned away this past weekend, and it wasn’t because of our attire. This place is clearly racist and anyone with an ounce of decency should STAYAWAY!!!

The only thing cool about sammy t’s is standing outside to watch drunk assholes fight each other.

Big room for dance floor and a bar. It was pretty packed when I went there. Nothing to great about this place. Fun? yes. Anything special? no.

Located in downtown Huntsville, just around the corner from a parking deck, this Hall plays host to some pretty decent bands … Pop Evil, Halestorm, Saliva, Within Reason, Tantric, Velcro Pygmies, etc. They host ladies nights and Chipendales as well as some dance nights. They do have a strict dress code against baggy jeans, shirts down to your knees, or clothing that would resemble some sort of ‘gangster’ type. They have security on site. The place is rather cramped when there is a sellout for a band but the sound system is awesome.

This is an awful club that wastes prime real estate in the downtown area. It’s your typical bro fraternity style nightclub complete with about a dozen security guards. Everyone is white(because they quite literally do not allow black people in, I’ve seen it with my own eyes), college-age, and privileged. The drinks are overpriced and watered down. The vibe is just depressing and desperate. If you hate diversity and culture, this is your place!

You stand outside in line, walk up to the bouncer and hand him your ID. He verifies your age, keeps your ID, and marks your hands if you’re under 19. You step inside, and walk up to the counter on the right to pay your cover. Walk past the bathrooms on your left into the large main room. There are a few rows of stools and tables for you sit down, and a couple VIP areas on the far left/right areas(and one upstairs), but the main focus is the dance floor right in front of the DJ’s stage. The lights are dark, the music is loud, there’s a cool synthesizer behind the stage, and music videos playing on the left and right side of it. Loud rap music. Lots of people. Lots of dancing. If that’s what you’re looking for, it’s pretty much the only place in Huntsville that has it for people as young as 19. I like it.
