I’ve had many super-​inexpensive lunches here while attending UAH. This is a small, family run sandwich shop that serves b’fast, too. I believe they close after lunch.
Delicious are the following: biscuits; pintos, onion and cornbread; and turkey sandwich on toasted wheat. You can get out of there easily under $ 6.00.
The ladies who run it are super nice too.
They have a drive thru window, in addition to a dining room. If I recall, they have ice cream, too. Do know that they don’t take ATM or credit cards. I *think* they will take a check. So bring cash.
