I like the YMCA. We’ve been members for two years now. The classes are great and the teachers are helpful. It’s easy to jump right in when the teacher is willing to explain what’s going on.
My son played in their t-​ball league last spring. The coach was great at teaching a sport that most 4 and 5 year olds need help understanding. He stuck to the basics and was very positive.
The childcare is okay. I feel very comfortable leaving my kids there.

The YMCA is certainly not the least expensive option for a gym, however, in my opinion it is the best for those who, like me, need more than a treadmill or simple workout. For your dollars you get a personal trainer and a physical therapist on site. I cannot think of any way another gym can even compete.
