This is the best nearly-hidden gem in Huntsville. Sure, the place isn’t huge as other reviewers have noted, but it doesn’t need to be. It rarely gets overcrowded and the guests seem to be all about quality over quantity. The wine selection is absolutely fantastic with a great variety of varietals(see what I did there) and price ranges. The staff is beyond friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and helpful. While I highly suggest you stop here for your purchases, I even more highly suggest you sign up for their emails and attend their weekly [reasonably priced, ample poured] tastings and events.

The only reason this gem should not get five stars(even thought I’m giving it 5 stars) is accessibility. It’s got a narrow driveway entrance at the *front* which is off Whitesburg Drive, and a decent sized parking lot in the back, which I think is accessed via Brandon Street. Wines for any budget. Knowledgeable staff who can get you in and out in 5 minutes, if you are in a rush. They always have wines open to taste and have a few cute wine themed gifts and accessories. Anytime I’m in the«medical district» I like to pop in here. I’ve never been to their wine tastings, but I’m sure they are fun. It is a little bungalow type home converted into a wine shop, so yeah, it’s a tight squeeze. BTW, their La Marca prosecco is less expensive than the lowest sale price I’ve seen at Target. I think Wine Cellar offers it at 11.50. Now, go get yourself this great value and pop the cork for 2015!

Wonderful local wine shop and wine bar, with top notch service and very friendly staff! They have really fun and educational tastings every Wednesday and Friday. Had a great time with girlfriends on a recent Thursday night, perfect spot for a glass of wine before date night too!

My Favorite Place for Glass of Wine! Wine by the glass or bottle-most friendly helpful peeps work there and a great patio with fire during chilly months. I like to bring lunch and meet friends on patio for winey mid day meetings!

It’s a small and cozy little place. A bit too small for their wine tasting event. Has a good wine selection and accessories. The ladies there are super nice. They would order the ones that they don’t carry in store for you. It’s a cute place.

The Wine Cellar was the place to be last Friday night when we showed up for a tasting — wall to wall oenephiles packed the place. Super friendly staff who are even friendlier to the Army groups that come through. The tasting was pretty much tapped, so we bought a few bottles and tasted them on-site on the tasting table. I love the cute signage here, I love the staff, the size of the place, the easy parking, and the packed atmosphere. We were treated like family and Will came and met up with us for dinner later. Great local place to support — and they are supportive of the locals. I love to toast to great businesses like this!

Good selection of wines, friendly-but-not-pushy staff helps you when you have questions. There’s a wall of cheaper wines that let you adventurous without burning a hole in your wallet. FYI there’s wine tasting every Wed & Friday 5−7PM, you can try good number of wines, learn about them, mingle with others, and purchase the wines at a discounted price.
