I’m originally from Huntsville but lived in Hawaii for a couple years(attended Hpu) until I transferred back here cause it costs like 7 arms and 11 legs to live there. This is only relevant because Hawaii is so full of Asian food, REALLY good Asian food… and this place probably comes second to my favorite place in Hawaii. So that means it’s basically as authentic as it gets. Not only is the phở delicious, but the clay pot makes me drool. On top of that, the pan fried noodles are delicious too. Honestly, I could eat here daily for a long time and wouldn’t be mad. Other than the gained weight.

Food is good and this ‘was’ one of my favorite restaurants in Huntsville. However, I give one star. Previously I went to this place once every week but I don’t go there anymore. Whenever I go there, I always feel so unpleasant. The biggest problem is old waitresses(I have seen three unkind old waitresses.) are extremely unkind. I cannot call these old waitresses more than twice because they always have a scowl on their faces if I ask something to bring. I recommend Viet Cuisine or Saigon if you want to be treated more appropriately and enjoy Vietnamese food better with friendly service. The quality of their food is not that different from Viet Huong.

Have eaten many places in a couple of states, but this is the best Phở I have ever had. Great Crab Rangoon and egg rolls as well. Price was very good and portions were large. Service is awesome and very clean inside. Definitely will be a regular.

The food is so delicious! They give you a lot of food for a very reasonable price. The staff is always great, no waiting on refills or food and they are super nice. Every time my husband and I have went, we’ve gotten exceptional food and service. The fried noodles are to die for.

Dinner for two consisted of one order of chicken spring rolls, beef clay pot(shared), small beef phở and small chicken phở. Everything was delicious. Worth trying if you are in the area!

I been here for dinner with my boyfriend. Its an amazing place. The waitresses are really friendly and the food tasted great. I will recommend it too everybody who’s living in Huntsville. Beside the food, try the soy bean drink!

Updating because I’m no longer a newbie to Vietnamese food. Now I can safely say that this is fantastic food and probably one of my favorite places to dine in Huntsville. I’ve tried several appetizers and entrees now after a dozen or so visits, but my rec remains the same: charbroiled pork(get anything with this) spring rolls and one of the clay pots(I’m partial to the seafood C-10 or special one). The service has improved over my years of visiting. They are speedier and friendlier. ANDTHEBESTNEWSOFALLONTHISUPDATE: They are expanding!!!

Great place for lunch, stopped by while working out-of-town on a Huntsville client nearby. Service was good with friendly, attentive staff, who were quick to take orders and checked in on our part semi-frequently. The menu was expansive, without feeling watered down, and featured a lot of food for a little money. I tried one of the vermicelli dishes and was very satisfied. The rest of my party sampled different clay pots and were quite happy with their meal. Great Lunch, will definitely be back,

The first time my wife suggested we meet here for lunch, I laughed out loud. I thought«there’s no way in h$ll I’m eating that stuff». She kept on and I realized she was serious. Uh oh, now what? I can hang up and act like I have a bad cell signal. I could say I was sick. In a meeting. Ahhh, how can I get out of this??? Okay, fine. I’ll keep her happy and try it just once. I mean, how bad could it be, right? WOW! This place is AMAZING! We meet for lunch here at least once a week now. The Phở is amazing and I love the clay pots. I’ve tried several different things and have always been pleased. When you’re there, you can see that a lot of local Vietnamese people are there eating. That should tell you something. Even if you can’t imagine yourself eating Vietnamese food — like me — GO. Just do it. You won’t be sorry.

I was very skeptical to try the phở at first because a lot can go wrong if the restaurant doesn’t know how to cook it. Regardless, I missed Phở so much that I have to try it. To my surprised it hit the spot and I was very satisfied. It was pretty legit and the broth was very flavorful. The broth wasn’t filled with MSG like most places I have visited. I would recommend this place.

This is a great family ran restaurant. The service is fast and really nice. They have a lot of choices when it comes to items. I got the Phở with everything in it. It was really good. What I like was the meat. It tasted good. The broth was a little too oily and greasy for me. The noodles were in a bundle and stuck together. They weren’t as al dente as most. Nonetheless, the flavor was still there. The pork chop broken rice was good. For the price it can be a little more meat. I wish the rice had better flavor than the standard white rice it was still delicious. The dessert has coconut milk, mung beans, red beans, and it was BOMBDOTCOM. I loved it. The lady noticed I was sitting there without food and she instantly asked if I was good and if I needed anything else. She was super friendly. Ample parking and they take credit card. Come here and get phở!

Seems like one of the most popular Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The food was okay. I ordered phở and a pork & rice plate to go. I placed my order 20 minutes in advance over the phone for pick up. The lady over the phone told me that the order would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived, the order wasn’t ready and the front desk employee told me that it would be another 5 minutes. I waited for an additional 20 minutes standing awkwardly in the middle of the restaurant near the register. The restaurant was very busy and packed for the lunch rush. However, if they had stated over the phone that the order would take 40 minutes, I would’ve come at the appropriate time. Communication & customer service was a huge failure. I have found an alternate Vietnamese restaurant in the area with better service and about the same level of tastiness.

I’m from Atlanta and have had some pretty good Phở, so trust me when I tell you that this place has AWESOME Phở. I’ve tried the chicken, beef and seafood and love all three(the beef is my favorite). Their claypots are just ok but that’s fine because I come here for the Phở. I don’t know what’s up with all the negative comments about the middle-aged waitress. I’ve had her several times and never had an issue. She’s always been friendly. I’ll admit that she has an abrasive side to her but that type of thing doesn’t really bother me. Every time I’ve come here they were packed but I was still seated right away. It does take a while for the food to come out so I would not recommend spending a lot of time deciding what you want. Can’t beat the prices. Under $ 30 for a table of 3 5 stars!

So good! If you go during lunch get there at exactly 1055 to open at 11; or by 1145 for the first sweaters getting up. The Phở is amazing, and the clay pots are too. A must are the spring rolls. The special or seafood clay pot is great. the rice is sizzling and can get a great texture before being stirred(it’s cooked in the clay pot, I always ordering extra spicy) the Beef Steak Phở is great. Wonderful broth flavor. The spring rolls are to die for. Very authentic!

Food and Helpfulness: The food is definitely a 5 star, but I can’t say the same about the service sometimes. We’ve had to wait over 20 to 30 minutes to be served here since it’s a super busy place. You know the food is great when they’re packed. I had the spring rolls and bun bo hue. Amazing taste. The service isn’t terribly bad, but don’t expect it to be quick. Appearance and Hygiene: The restaurant is on a smaller scale in terms of size with dim lighting, but it is clean with decorations. Not sure about bathroom since I haven’t used it there. There probably is one I think.

How’s the ambience? It’s cute! Is the food good? It’s alright!(Says my boyfriend who ordered the phở but only finished half.) Is the service good? I’m convinced that the middle aged waitress who took our orders is a complete psychopath! I came into the restaurant tonight with my boyfriend and a friend of his. I ordered the grilled pork and shrimp with jasmine rice. My order came out first, and I saw that the pork was not only sliced super small and thin, but BURNT. The shrimp was burnt too. When she came out with the other two entrees(phở and some other noodle dish), I politely asked her«Umm. I’m sorry, can I exchange this? It’s a little too burnt for me.» I kid you not, this is how our conversation went. Waitress: No… NO… This is NOT burnt, you just don’t like it, I know. Me: …Excuse me? Waitress: ITISNOTBURNT. ITISGRILLEDANDTHISISHOWITISSUPPOSEDTOBE, YOUJUSTDON’T LIKEIT, MA’AM, I KNOW. Me:(In disbelief of the words I am hearing right now) B-b-but I didn’t even touch it, look at the– Waitress: I KNOW!!! You just don’t like it but this is how it is. I can exchange it for you. You can order something else but you still have to pay for this one. Me: .That’s…ridiculous. Boyfriend: Okay, just order something else, it’s fine. Me: No, thank you. Waitress: I can bring a box for you to bring this home. Me: No, thanks. Waitress: –brings menu and angrily hands it to me– I will bring this to plate check with the cook! Waitress: –brings the plate to a different waitress– ISTHISBURNT??? Waitress #2: …N-n-n-no… Waitress: –brings plate back to my table– See, it’s not burnt, ma’am, you just don’t like it. You can order something else. and then this crazy b — - had the NERVE to tell my boyfriend: «I can box this up for YOU since you like it, but NOT for HER.» It took all the strength in me to be the bigger person and not add on to the ratchetness happening in that restaurant. TLDR; The middle aged waitress is a psychopath. The food smelled good.
