Great Thai food! The owner brought and prepares her authentic family recipes from her home town in PiPi Island, Thailand. Everything tastes wonderful! Even if you get to-go food. Tonight, I ordered 5 entrees, one appetizer and one large soup and the total was only $ 70. I’m not sure why others think this is expensive. I think what I ordered is priced perfectly for what you get compared to other high priced Thai restaurants in Dallas. If you love authentic Thai food, this is the place for you!

I wanted some thai food with a little spice so decided to try out a new place. Called and ordered pad thai, the lady didn’t ask how spicy I wanted it which I thought was odd. So I asked her if I can have it a little spicy and she said the diff levels are mild, medium and extra hot. I opted for medium, which turned out to be mild. I added some satay hoping to add a little kick but that wasn’t spicy either. And theres about a cup of grease added to this 1 dish. Probably won’t be coming back.

This is one of my favorite little hidden gems. The food is always FRESH and delicious. Service is prompt and all servers have always been very friendly. I recommend Quick Thai to everyone I know!

I discovered this place when it was up the street a few years ago. I love the sweet owner. The food is so good. Yes it’s a tad more than elsewhere but so worth it. Spice levels vary which is great. I haven’t had a dish I haven’t liked. Pad see ew and Tom yum soup are a hit. Any curry dish is great too.

I’m just getting up to speed in Thai food and this is my second time sampling this place. I like Thai food as its a surprise to the taste buds far beyond your average Asian food place. Interestingly I use to say the same for Sushi but now that so main stream taste common, I’ve tried five different places here in the HEB area. All follow the mom and pop format with each having its own flavor personality. Quick Thai has ample serving sized and fresh, hot food. I enjoyed every bit. I always ordered Pad Ti which is very good. I encourage you give this a shot to see if you agree. Food is like art you could hate something I love. But I must say support the small home town shops as they alway add to your flavor experience

Dinner for one with app, entrée, and dessert was $ 28. A bit pricy for the quality. Spring roll are nothing but shredded lettuce. Entrée Pad Woonsen had lots of veggies and a fair amount of shrimp. Would go back for lunch and spend dinner elsewhere. Give it a try! The name doesn’t lie.

I was so pleased to find this place vegan friendly. Unlike many other Asian restaurants, the dishes have a good amount of vegetables and do not suffer from the dreaded bamboo shoot, onions, and bell peppers only that so many other Asian restaurants in the metroplex suffer from. The curry and pad Thai we tried were both very good and we’ll definitely come back.

Moved recently a few miles away from original location for less expensive rent and more parking spaces is my guess. I will start off by saying the food was great and the menu had enough options albeit more expensive than their competitors by a good $ 2 per entrée. The problem for me is that management refused my press pass discount and their establishment is clearly indicated on their list and why wouldn’t they be considering their new, hard to see location. there are other options for good Thai food in the area for a lot less than what Quick Thai is charging.

Attitude and service is very bad!!! Never tasted food because of her attitude we ended up leaving the restaurant before we order the food. When we asked her some questions regarding the some of the vegetarian dishes she was so rude to answer those and keep saying we have to charge more for this. we got so sick of hearing this from her mouth. She was kept rushing us to order because our kitchen will close. if that is the case then she should not have set us down we went 1 hour before they were closing. NEVER going their again.

Lived in Thailand for over half a decade and having experienced local food from Chiangmai to E-San to Mae Sot to Songkla, I enjoyed various dishes offered by Quick Thai Bistro. My go to is the Green Curry, which is coconut creamy, spicy, and complex in its taste. Larb chicken was good, although the flavor was a little muted, perhaps to accommodate the Texan palate(?). Yum Woon Sen was great. A little spicy, a little tangy, a little salty, and a little sweet. Pad Sew Beef was good most of the time, although on a few occasions, the expected flavors missed the mark, which is expected depending on the cook. One of the review did mention the pricing of the food compared to the portion size being a little skewed(high), and sadly, I do have to agree. However, that has not stopped me from continuously patronizing the restaurant. If you haven’t done so already, give this restaurant a try and decide for yourself if it was worth it.

Delicious food, lovingly prepared. Vegetables are so fresh and cooked to just right tender crispness. This place does a brisk takeout business, but treat yourself to an intimate dining experience and walk on in to this cozy new location.

My wife an I ate here for lunch the day before Thanksgiving. While we were hoping for a great experience, we received something much less stellar; more on the mediocre side for Thai food. If you are used to eating at places like Sweet Basil or quite frankly even Thai Tip, you will probably be sorely disappointed. Portions(at least lunch) are small and overly expensive for what you get. I think our lunches were roughly $ 9 and may have been an okay value for $ 5. The flavor of our meals were, again, lacking and rather simplistic(like a bottle of $ 3 wine; no complexity whatsoever). We really — really wanted to like this place, but it isn’t worth the price and even though it is literally right down the street from us, I will drive across town to Sweet Basil any day before I eat here again. Did I mention that the owner(Nita) was over bearing and made our experience even less enjoyable. She would not let us eat our meal in peace, and made it a point to tell us how good and fresh the food was, no free than three or four times during our lunch, which actually made the food even less tasty, due to the food cooling down while we attempted to stay polite, paying attention to her ramblings. Don’t get me wrong, we like to meet the owners of the establishments we dine in, but this went way to far — to the point of becoming uncomfortable. Sorry to say, I would not give this place the nod.
