This was the third cat neuter and was bad. The wait was too long and knowing he had an undescended testicle they opened his abdomen said they couldn’t find the missing one so they left the descended one too! Supervisor called to say nothing! She said words then when I asked for the rationale she couldn’t answer. That policy was never mentioned to me. Now we are off to a «full service» vet to be put under anesthesia AGAIN! Never again

We have been to this location 3 or 4 times and they are friendly and efficient. However, this last visit they may have been in to big a hurry. I was getting 2 dogs shots and the 11 week old puppy was bleeding a lot after the shot. Hopefully she will not suffer any ill effects.

Most affordable place around. I have previously visited the Denton location for TCAP for my dog’s annual shots, and it was time for my dog’s every-​6-​months booster and this location was the closest for me. We had a great experience and found it exactly like the other location.
I went during their «open hours» so I knew it would be first-​come first-​serve. You’ll wait outside if there are too many pets inside, but once it’s your turn, it takes literally like 30 seconds for them to give the shots and then you’re good to go!
Also very pleased with my dog’s previous dental appointment. I definitely recommend signing up for their e-​mail list for deals or check sites like Amazon Local or Groupon for make this great deal even better.

I have nothing bad to say about this place! It has great, affordable prices for its services and the staff handles the animals with great care. I’ve brought my puppy in for vaccinations and to be neutered, and recently brought my new kitten in for his vaccinations. Both visits were great and I always recommend this place to friends and family.

The vet techs were very nice and very patient with the many questions we had. The cost is very reasonable and my dog recovered very quickly.

TCAP staff are professional and quick. There was about an hour wait for vaccination, but the savings were well worth the wait. My dog and I got there right at 9, so I would recommend coming early to cut some of that wait time.

I walked in the door at 11:58 am. Really just wanted to make an appointment, but they took my dog right then to give his vaccines. They were really nice and my dog was taken care of gently and sweetly. I recommend them to anyone and everyone.

I adopted my Chihuahua in 2013 from the family of his owner, who had passed away. They were very nice people, but knew little to nothing about his previous medical care. They told me he was «about 6 years old» and gave me the phone number of the vet they said had been «his» but the only records they had were 6 years old, so I decided to start fresh with shots, etc. I called every vet clinic in my area and was given quotes in excess of $ 250 just for the basic 3 shots. FINALLY I talked to someone who recommended TCAP.
There was no appointment needed, it was «first come, first served» — I waited at the Burleson location in a very long line that moved very quickly. They gave him all of the needed shots, checked for heartworms and parasites, checked his teeth and recommended a cleaning, microchipped him, and provided the monthly heartworm pills… all for about $ 100! I called for an appointment for the cleaning and went to the Ft. Worth location. They did an extraction, sent me home with all necessary instructions pain meds and antibiotics — again, all for $ 110.
I loved the gentleness of the staff with him, and how efficiently they handled the large number of clients, but I really did not like the 30 miles to either location. THEN, they opened in Hurst, and that’s now my location of choice.
Yes, even with an appointment there is a line. My guess is, they make appointments because they need to know how many patients they will have for the various services. With a limited period of time, and each procedure takes a certain amount of time, they do not want to overbook and have to rush through anything.
I took my baby in for his shots several weeks ago: the line was long but moved quickly. They are very efficient and gentle, though because they have to draw blood for the heartworm test, some of the pets cried. Luckily, my little guy was silent through it all, but he did keep looking at me as if to say «When do we get to go home??» I bought a year’s supply of Heartguard.
We went in for his dental appointment yesterday. Check-​in was between 8 and 9AM, and yes, there was a line of pets needing surgery: some were dental, most were neuter or spay. The line went smoothly, I left him about 8:45. At 12:30 the dental tech called and said he was finished and resting comfortably; I could pick him up anytime before 3:00. I got there about 1:45. He was alert, happy to be back in his own carrier and ready to GO HOME. They gave me a complete review of what was done, no extractions needed. They said that yes, they do use sedatives, but only a small dose that wears off quickly. They sent home antibiotics and said to give him dental chews that act like a toothbrush.
I really like the people, and he seems to be ok with them, too. He doesn’t jump up and down with joy, but he does not whimper and cringe from them or bark or even growl at them, either.
Being on a limited budget, I am so thankful that he can have the care he needs for such reasonable prices.
The location looks and smells clean and I trust that they know what they are doing. I will continue to use them for as long as I have pets.

My husband and I brought our dog here for a dental cleaning. Making the appointment was easy, they even sent multiple reminders throughout the period of time between making the appointment and the appointment itself. To newcomers, it may seem chaotic once you arrive at the location. However, the staff is very efficient, helpful and friendly so they quickly get you to where you need to be.
I’m truly grateful for TCAP, they provide an invaluable service to the community.

Setting up the appointment was easy, but apparently unnecessary? They told me I had to have an appointment, so I made one to drop off at 8:30. I got there a little early and I’m glad I did because there were already about 10 – 15 people in line. I had to stand outside for 30 minutes in a line that wrapped around the building. It was very warm outside, even at 8 am, so my kitten was panicking being out there with cats, small dogs, and big dogs that were all panting, barking, growling, and stressing out.
I have nothing negative to say about the staff or the actual appointment itself though. It was just the waiting.

What a horrible experience. They are rude and have no clue what they are doing. Our puppy is 14 weeks and was getting a rabbie shot and heartworm tested. The nurse was trying to prick her to test for heartworms and was hurting her. She said she needed to get the vet, the vet came in there and said she was to young to test. REALLY! You hurt my puppy because you have no clue what you are doing. We waited 2 hours outside in the heat for you to traumatize our puppy. Next time we will go back to Marshall Grains were we have always taken our dogs shame on us for thinking they were professional.

I am so incredibly disappointed with this place. I had my cat neutered there today and was horrified when I picked him up. First off, when I walked in to get him there was an overwhelming smell of urine. I have worked in vet clinics and there is never an excuse to have a smell that strong if things are being kept clean. Next, they brought my cat out to me in the soft carrier that I dropped him off in and I was hit with an even stronger smell of cat urine and noticed that a bunch of wadded up newspaper was crammed in his small carrier with him. When I got him out of the carrier he was DRENCHED in his own urine. Clearly they had performed the procedure and tossed him back in his carrier with newspaper where he peed all over himself and they couldn’t bother to clean him up.
Having worked in vet clinics, it is common knowledge that animals are to be placed in a sterile kennel after a procedure — NOT STUFFED IN THE CARRIER THEY CAME IN WITH SOME NEWSPAPER. in addition, you never return an animal to their owner soiled. This goes for urine, feces, or vomit. Veterinary technicians should take the time to carefully and properly clean the animal before sending them home. Especially after a procedure.
This tells me that my cat spent the entire day without access to a litter box. Absolutely horrifying and unacceptable. Not to mention the fact that they send the animal home the minute they wake up. He was completely unable to even stand when we got home. They are supposed to monitor them after surgery to watch for any complications. This place is unsanitary, unprofessional, uncaring, and unsafe. I would rather attempt to neuter my cat myself than place him back in the care of these awful people.

What a wonderful place! Setting up an appointment was easy. Morning dropoff took about 15 minutes. There were a lot of people/​pets but there were a lot of helpful, friendly, efficient staff. All my questions were answered, and the place was clean and well-​run.
They called me about noon to let me know how it all went. I had my new rescue dog neutered, microchipped, and got a dental cleaning. He was picked up about 2:30 and sent home with his pain meds, antibiotics, records, and instructions. His incision site looks great, and his teeth look amazing. I couldn’t believe it.
I saved approximately $ 375 from what my vet quoted me. Their services aren’t for dogs who weigh a lot or are older offer have health problems, but for routine procedures, how nice to be able to take care of our pets afforably in a very nice facility.
Oh… The appointment procedure was easy, as well, with a follow up email that was very affordable, and a text reminder, too. I can’t recommend them highly enough in order to be able to affordably take care of your pets responsibly.

ZERO STARS!!! they almost killed my dog. Took her for a routine spay and when we picked her up we noticed a blood spot. We walked right back inside and the woman said. Oh that’s normal. She will «ooze» after surgery. We showed concern before leaving the property and was turned away!!! We ended up spending MORE THAN DOUBLE (348 $) to fix their horrible surgery!!! I would never take my animal back

This is a summary of the two visits to the clinic there.
First time they lost my appointment and after about 30 min figured they could make an exception and take the cat. There were the typical up sales but it wasn’t too bad.
Second time brought another cat and when the wife had a flat tire and was about fourty min late for pickup they told her that they were all five waiting there because of her. I’m sorry but you DO NOT embarrass someone that way. And their hours specifically say closing at 8pm on Wednesday, she was there at 3:45!
They then told her that it would be a $ 20 charge for being late! When my wife called me I said they never mentioned this and they told her I was lying. What a bunch of selfish brats there. When my wife refused to pay they told her they would keep the cat, all over $ 20. They finally gave us the cat but not before they refused to give us his papers stating he was fixed and had rabies shot. WHAT EXTORTION
Don’t come here if you enjoy being treated with value because they have a special way of treating customers like crap. TCRAP

I found this place while googling for a low-​cost neuter for our new kitty. I called on a Saturday and left a voicemail, and was surprised to receive a call back within the hour! They had appointments for as early as Monday morning — I had dreaded having to wait and choose from random inconvenient times, but the process is very simple: drop off is 8a-​9a, pickup is by 3p. They have several locations, but Hurst was closest for me.
After I made the appointment, I got a couple of communications (email and text) with lots of detailed information and links to their site, so I was 100% prepared. Very easy to find any answer you miss on the first call, which I appreciate.
And the prices are very reasonable! I got our little dude snipped, rabies shot (didn’t have the papers from his prior owner), fancypants 3-​day pain meds, and chipped — out the door for $ 75.
My biggest concern while heading up there was that it might be a little hinky or grody. Thank goodness that is not the case! It’s bright and clean, staffed with lots of helpful cheerful ladies getting all the animals checked in with minimal fuss, and it even smells good in there! Hallelujah.
My guy wasn’t too traumatized after his visit, but I did get very thorough instructions, both verbal and written, along with a 24-​hr phone number to call with any concerns and questions.
I have since learned that they do vaccinations on a walk-​in basis, as well as other services perfect for new pets (kitten and pup packages with all the necessary shots and whatnot), and even have an online store for pet supplies. I haven’t checked any of that out, but it’s nice to know they are so comprehensive in their approach.
I’d be totally confident recommending this place for any little furbuddy!

They are awesome! Their prices are VERY AFFORDABLE and my dog is always happy when we leave. They are sweet/​gentle with my pet and they seem to care. I took my dog for an annual dental cleaning, and before at his previous vet he was all drowsy/​woozy afterwards — poor fella. Well, with them at TCAP, he was somewhat subdued/​relaxed but still alert and had an attentive spirit Also, from time to time they will email out coupons for various deals like $$ off a visit or meds, which is pretty cool. They have 4 locations in the Metroplex. They also do various different site clinics at doggie daycare/​grooming centers. They also service cats too (I’m not a cat person). But I highly recommend!
