Econo Lodge

This location is now a BUDGET HOST INN, but I cannot find it anywhere on Unilocal,so I will review it here. I stayed here with a high school group for a State Championship, and we were at the end of our budget for the year. We paid half of what other schools paid to stay elsewhere. Now then, there’s a reason it has «budget» in its name, so you will want to lower your expectations to just the basics. When talking to both my kids and other coaches, we all agreed that the important things were nice and clean. Bedding, towels, toilet, carpet. Otherwise, this place is extremely dated and could use a deep cleaning. The staff was extremely gracious and accommodating! Amenities included fridge, micro, coffee, breakfast, hair dryer. The train did wake me up, and the shower was tepid. WiFi was also undependable. I didn’t witness any sketch clientelle, and if this is the «bad» part of Hutch, I will say I would feel perfectly safe walking down the street anytime. I am from the city, though. I would stay here again if I needed to save a load of money.
