Love the Starbucks in Hutto. There is never a long line and the customer service is great!

I am a gold member with Starbucks, so I order coffee from there quite often. My favorite «perk» of being a gold member is the «free refill» you get when ordering a plain coffee, which 99% of the time is my usual order. Grand E pike sweetened with classic with room. I know that the classic is extra charge during the initial order, however, EVERY other time I get coffee from different locations, I am not charged an additional charge for sweetener upon refill. Today Julio rang me up for my refill. I noticed I was charged 54 cents. When I questioned it, he stated that I had not been charged, but it had clearly been charged my phone. Even though it was extremely obvious I had been charged, he would show me his screen saying it was not charged, even though showing me the screen really doesn’t prove anything to me. Eventually we had concluded I was charged for the classic sweetener. I stated that I am normally not charged for classic sweetener upon refill, but Julio insisted that I MUST be charged for it.
Now, if I am in the wrong and I am in fact supposed to be charged, then I will gladly remove this review. But I would prefer consistency, which is something I know Starbucks corporation takes pride in. Thank you.
Put two stars instead of one because the drinks themselves are consistent. Just varying levels of service, which is important in the coffee shop industry.

I love Starbucks in general and was so excited when I found out we were getting one in Hutto. This location is great, everyone has been so nice and they are pretty quick in the mornings even when the drive-​thru line is crazy. Love this place and love that it’s so close.

I’m sitting in the drive thru and their drive thru goes pretty quickly! Love that. Love they opened one up in this area since it’s convenient especially for those who take the toll.
Customer service: Consistent and its always service with a smile. Always nice and super helpful.

The layout of this Starbucks is nice. It is very open and there is lots of space. But, the space is not utilized correctly. There could be way more seating but it feels very empty. When I was there with a large group of friends, we were the only people in the store and because it has concrete floors it echoes profusely. When we were chatting, we were laughing of course, and very rudely a barista approached us. He claimed that we were being so loud that it was hard for others to do business. 1) We were in the store alone 2) There is a nicer way to say that and 3) When was it ever okay to tell a customer that they were being «too loud» for having a good time and laughing? I was very offended and quickly left. We brought 10 happy customers into that store and will not be returning. We will be going to the Starbucks on 79 and Redbud where laughing is acceptable although the Hutto one is closer.
