Krazy Kakes

Ok, so I rarely write a review not because I dont want to but I feel like a company really needs to deserve a great review (truly outstanding) or a bad review. Most people only write why they didnt like a place, not me on this review. Krazy Kakes is the most unbelievable little piece of heaven and I drive down from Boston because it surpasses what is available in Boston. I have ordered cakes for different occasions, cupcakes and cake pops and everything has always been truly outstanding and been better than the first time. Lisa is amazing and always goes above and beyond to make each order like its her only order. I am finding myself trying to think of holidays or special events so I can call Lisa just so I can have her amazing treats! Kudos to Krazy Kakes, when you love what you do it really shows in the finished product and the amazing taste that you give your clients.

The title of this review is, «As if I didn’t eat enough food on vacation!!»
We were doing a little window shopping on Main Street since the wind made it a not so great beach day. From across the street, a sign heralding ‘cupcakes’ made us fight the oncoming traffic to check out Krazy Kakes. We were SO excited to find such a delicious assortment of cupcakes in this store, we took a dozen for our dinner with friends that evening and bought one for each of us for the road. I had the snickerdoodle, my sister had the lemon raspberry and our friend had the chocolate with vanilla frosting. YUM! My snickerdoodle was awesome! The cake was super moist with a hint of cinnamon flavor and the frosting was equally cinnamon-​y and didn’t overpower the cake. The lemon cake was light and the raspberry frosting complemented the cake well. The chocolate was delicious, as to be expected… The cupcakes are $ 2.50 each or a dozen for $ 24.
Later that night, I tried the chocolate peanut butter and also loved the tried and true combination. They were so good, we actually stopped there again the next day! I was flying out but I grabbed a snickerdoodle for the road and my friends bought another dozen for their 4^th of July get together (I was jealous I missed trying the piña colada). Definitely plan to save some room for a yummy cupcake from Krazy Kakes next time you’re in Hyannis!
