Great food, great service. A cozy, relaxed little corner coffee and sandwich shop. Best coffee and scones in town, and try the donut muffins!

A real treat for those stopping by from NYC! Quaint, charming, delicious fresh food where«rush» has been removed fm the vernacular. That’s not to say the service was poor, on the contrary — I felt welcome & well served!

Small place, but that makes it such a comfortable and cozy place to have a bite. Prices are very good overall. Nice selection of coffees and teas.

We had a tuna salad and it was pretty good. This place is really great for breakfast as the cranberry brule coffee is amazing. They had dolly bar which had us drooling. Plus, a donut muffin which looked amazing.

We actually didn’t get to eat here. We called and made a reservation, then called to tell them we will be late and were told«no problem » When we arrived they had no tables. The owner was extremely rude and has zero people skills. He did not apologize for the mix up and told us in a nasty way«I’m trying to run a business!» He never even offered us to wait for a free table. This is no way to run a business. There is more to running a good business then what you sell. It is also about customer service. I guess this is a lesson the owner has not yet learned but hopefully will.

Love their French roast coffee! Always come here when I want to grab something yummy for breakfast! The place itself is beautifully decorated and feels very cozy. The staff is also very friendly! I think that’s what brings me back continuously. One of the cashiers always asks me how I’m doing in a genuinely interested way. Their service is very good. My boyfriend loves the apple muffins they make in the fall!

The coffee is great!!! The sandwiches are lack luster. We have come to Cranberries many times, it is really convenient and I keep wanting it to deliver more than it has in the past. We have recently moved back to the area and a few days ago I went in to order a ham and cheese sandwich for my husband and there was very little ham and the ham they use is boiled ham. Definitely not what I expected for the price, although I should have known better. They used to offer Mac or potato salad with their sandwiches but I guess they have stopped that. I think I will head to the gas station for my coffee instead.

Food quality was average. The bacon breakfast sandwich had very little bacon. The«side» of bacon was only 2 slices. The cupcake was way too dense. More like a tiny muffin.

Great casual spot for breakfast. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Excellent selection of coffees. Very good breakfast sandwich and veggie omelette. The baked goods are made in house and not to miss!

We had been wanting to try this place for months, then finally had the time to wander in one recent morning. The staff was friendly upon arrival and the atmosphere was warm and cozy on a chilly day. The food came out pretty quickly, but we were disappointed in the quality, flavor, and portion sizes. It looked more like something a newbie was trying to cook for the first time. Very disappointing.

This place is home away from home. Cozy furniture and a warm staff. Serves breakfast all day! Fresh, great food. Ricki, the baker, is a CIA baking and pastry graduate. Her cheesecakes and gluten-free cookies are my favorite! Roger, the owner, makes the delicious muffins and yummy scones everyday(:

This place is so overrated! We had a bad coffee experience there but decided to give it another try and grab some sandwiches for a picnic. To say they were terrible is a huge understatement! I swear food from the gas station down the street would have been more flavorful. The staff is not friendly and incredibly slow. Do yourself a favor and keep on driving past this place if you visit the Hudson Valley.

I love Cranberry’s! It is the perfect little place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea! I love the atmosphere. It’s like a cozy cottage. They have a cute fire place, floral wallpaper, china cabinets and antique chairs. My usual Sunday breakfast is a ham, egg, and cheese croissant and cup of coffee. I love the huge variety of coffee offered here. They make really yummy seasonal blends too! The peanut butter bars & doughnut muffins are amazing!

This is a great little place! It’s perfectly situated just a few blocks from the Vanderbilt mansion and a few miles from FDR’s home. It’s a small, quiet café that has homemade meals and a nice selection of coffee. They also have a little bakery with pastries and desserts too(they looked good, but we didn’t try them). I tried their chai with my lunch and it was very, very good — nicely spiced and perfectly sweet. My fiancée got a salad and I got a wrap and we both really enjoyed our meals. Bottom line: it’s a great place to grab some breakfast or lunch when you’re in beautiful Hyde Park and I highly recommend it!

Went here for a bridal shower — cute place! I’m not sure how the regular food is, but the noshes served for our private group were mostly delicious. Yummy stuffed mushrooms, salmon and cream cheese pinwheel wraps, salad, mini grilled cheese sandwiches… The only thing I tried that was not so hot was the polenta, cucumber and tomato bites. I wasn’t a fan. Really nice, accommodating staff, ample parking.

Found this place here on Unilocal.Just moved into town and so a few friends and I were exploring. The people working here were very friendly and helpful. Asked one of them how the chocolate chip macaroon was but she didn’t eat coconut. I was SHOCKED lol. I ordered the cheese steak sandwich. It was YUMMY. It could use some mushrooms though. I also ordered the Chocolate chip macaroon and that was delicious as well. Its a very cute spot to eat and hang out. I look forward to my next visit. =)

I’m torn on Cranberries, but in a good way. Part of me wants it to be larger so more people can enjoy it, but at the same time, it would lose some of its charm. It’s got the«gravity well» as you walk in, i.e. desserts and pastries and such. And on the counter there were at least TWELVE carafes of different types and flavors of coffee. If I hadn’t already had more than enough coffee this morning, I would have tried the chocolate peanut-butter blend, just because. There’s lots of options for eating in — comfy sofas, small and large tables. There’s bookshelves with books to brows, surrounded by a large variety of teas you can also try. A cooler in the back has more cold beverages you can purchase. The salads don’t necessarily feel like the best deal here(about $ 7 for a specialty salad, $ 5 for a garden salad). But the ingredients were very fresh, and — important to me — NOT iceberg lettuce. For that, plus freshness, plus ambiance, I would definitely get a salad — or lunch, or breakfast, or coffee — here over the McSalad options a little ways down the road.
