Super impressed with Pizza Hut. I have always loved Pizza Hut. WAY, WAY back there used to be one near my house, that I used to go ALL the time. That Pizza Hut closed and since then(around 1997), I’ve been PizzaHut-less. About a year ago, I drove by this location, first realizing that there is a Pizza Hut that isn’t 45 million miles away. Finally, a few days ago, as in the area, decided to FINALLY try it. Called in an order and the girl on the phone was very, very friendly, kind, and MADE sure to ask every question in the book(some people may find that annoying, yet I thought it was useful for my next visit, to know exactly what to say when ordering). Also, found out they deliver. Now, as I said, I don’t live near this location and are SURE they don’t deliver to Westwood(15 – 20 minutes away), but its still good for Hyde Park — Roslindale — West Rox — Dedham residents to have the choice of, for those who don’t feel like getting in the car and following lazy, old Hyde Park Avenue to the plaza in which Pizza Hut is located. Anyway, arrived at Pizza Hut within 10 minutes from the plaza on Truman Pkwy and was greeted with a large parking lot, mainly full, yet there were many open spots on the side of the building near the Dunkin Donuts drive thru. The woman(who I think was the same one as on the phone) working was extremely friendly, happy, and very energetic. She asked if the pizza looked to-order, which it did, and it tasted even better. Wasn’t hot-off-the-press when I got home(again, I live 15 – 20 minutes away), but wasn’t cold and was delicious(if only it hadn’t been for the annoying 4 way stop at Enneking Parkway, but it wasn’t nearly an issue). Anyway, super happy with this experience and will be returning, plus who knew, it really isn’t that far! Go go Pizza Hut, you’re amazing!(Yet if you have a chance, opening up a new pizza parlor in the area would be great… why not open in that spot on Route 1 you took in the 90’s?)

I called this location Pizza Hut to make sure they deliver to roslindale. But the lady that answer the phone made it so difficult! All I want was a yes or no! She ask for my number and name and address then she ask what can I help you with? I’m like all I want was to know if you guys deliver to ROSLINDALE… thanks but NOTHANKS! but you service people are out this world RETARDED! Plain rude& ignorant all over. STAYOFTHEDEPRESSIONPILLS!

The«manager» Shakira and the«GM» Jeff were rude and unprofessional. I have never had a good experience with customer service at this particular Pizza Hut. But lately it may have become worse. It seems as if there is new management which has caused the customer service experience to drop tremendously. Management needs to have better customer service training service. The service is pretty weak, many times toppings have been forgotten and so have dippings. Very sad because this is the closest Pizza Hut and I enjoy their pizza. Over it. Will not be returning. P.S:Do not ask for the GM’s boss, he will tell you that he does not have one or that he is on vacation. Unbelievable.

I’ve ordered pizza from this particular place several times. My last experience on 8÷9÷15 wasn’t so good. The manager was extremely rude after the call center had promised me certain things would happen. First I placed my order at 9:48 pm and explained that I was about 20 minutes away knowing they close at 10. The man from the call center said no problem they don’t mind making an exception. Then I was also guaranteed an offer I saw online would be applied to my order when I get in the store. After speaking to the man at the call center five minutes later I receive a phone call asking where I am and how long before I reach the Pizza Hut. I said 10 minutes and as I tried to explain what the exception the call center said would be made, the man on the phone cuts me off and says anything after 10 minutes the door will be locked and I won’t get my food, then he hung up. I reach the store and the employees and manager has his jacket on ready to leave and I ask if my coupon can be applied he says no and walks away. I yell excuse me who did I speak to and he says you spoke to someone in the call center no one here. So what they told you is what they told you and goes to the back of the shop. I was fuming and the employee at the register apologized on behalf of HIS manager. That’s the only reason I payed and did not walk out. I don’t usually do this but I contacted corporate the Tuesday after. I was extremely upset. They listened and took down the incident and mailed me coupons for a free large pizza. That is why I give them 3 stars. The food overall is delicious! I’ve never had a problem but terrible service makes you NOT want to eat the food. Since the corporate office continuously apologized and made me feel like a valued customer I will be returning.

Now, I’ll be the first to admit that I love Pizza Hut. Their pizza is definitely my favorite of any chain, & we have no complaints about the pizza we’ve gotten from this location. But we will never be giving our business to this location again due to their poor customer service. My husband & I are very patient so we waited until our order was 30 minutes late before calling the restaurant to check on it. The girl who answered told us that traffic was bad & the delivery driver left«a while ago» so our order should arrive any minute. Thirty minutes later(when our order was an hour late) my husband called to check again. He spoke with the manager, who informed us that the delivery guy tried to call us & knocked on the door to our apartment building(like we would hear that– living on the 3rd floor). We told him that we had no missed calls and yes, we do have good service in our apartment. He said we could not have a refund, because his driver had attempted to contact us. He was very rude, and acted as if it was our fault because we «didn’t answer.» We asked if we could have a new pizza made because no one wants to receive a pizza an hour & a half after it was made. The manager said no, but he would send his driver back out once he returned. The manager could not call his driver while he was still out delivering, because he was«too busy.» Our cold pizza finally arrived an hour & a half after it’s original delivery time, at which point the delivery guy informed us that he had, in fact, been calling the wrong phone number. I know managers need to stick up for their employees, but this manager really acted like it was our fault we had not received our order and refused to give us a refund when we wanted to just cancel our order. It wasn’t until after we called back to let the manager know that his employee was actually calling the wrong number(even though it was entered & printed correctly on the receipt) that he ever offered anything to try and remedy the situation. Too late. Long story, but in the end, go somewhere else. I have never experienced such rude, disrespectful behavior from a manager!

What’s up with all the negativity up in this place. If you want high quality pizza, go waste 20 bucks on some garbage gourmet pizza in the South End. But if you want that buttery goodness, stuffed crust all the way! By the way, I think they are very courteous here. They do a great job of taking my cash and giving me my pizza.

I called and put my order in at about 10:50pm. Someone at the call center takes your order and sends it in. I got a call back about five minutes later from the server that they were closed for delivery and that they closed at 11:00pm I was hungry and a bit put off by the fact that they had let me get my hopes up. Anyways I asked the kid if he could still make my pizza and he stayed open to make it so I could drive a mere 10mins down the street to get my rather large order. He did forget the Pepsi and I had to go back in, all in all I really appreciated his staying late to get me my food!

Let me start off by saying I’ve always loved PH every since I was old enough to make my own choices and my own purchases. That being said, I’m afraid that PH is going the way of GodFathers and we’ll probably soon be hearing PH connected to words like bankrupt and going out of business. I went to this one in Hyde Park last Superbowl Sunday and there had to be at least 30 people inside this small store waiting on their call in order. Some said they had called in early that morning a got a set pick up time and they were still waiting for their order. A few weeks later I called to make a pick up order and was told the store was closed. This was on a Sunday afternoon around 2PM! Strange! But what really saddens me is the attitude of the workers. Very non-chalant and nasty if you have the audacity to question them or say anything about how they’ve messed up your order. It would be laughable if not for the fact that I do love and will miss my large pan Supreme no Mushroom. *Sigh* :-(

I have been looking for a Pizza Hut close to my house for years. When I finally discovered that this location delivers, I was very excited since the Papa Johns near me was getting old and the local pizza joints just don’t taste that good. With this location, you can order over the phone or online or even over your iPhone with a simple App. With online delivery usually with Papa Johns it is a hit or miss and they have screwed up my order. I have ordered now from this location about 5 times and there was only one time that it was really slow and got to my house about an hour after ordering. The other 4 times, it was very fast and piping hot and tasted just as it should! Very glad this place delivers and now I have more choices when it comes to pizza!

I work as a dispatcher so a lot of the time when ordering lunch and what not we have to have it delivered to us because I can’t just walk away from the phones and radio. I was really excited when I saw it advertised on the website for pizza hut that they deliver! Well that is until I ordered with my credit card and they called me back in like 10 minutes to say that they would not be able to deliver my lunch until about 5pm because that is when their driver came in! If thats the case then it should be stated on the site, but to make it worse they didn’t refund my money onto my credit card afterwards even when I called the place and let them know they swore up and down that they put it back it just hasn’t gone through yet. Well that’s crap because its been over 2 weeks and the money still has never been put back on my card! Granted it was under $ 15 but its not really the point!
