Really great food. Much improved from the previous owners. We were regulars at the old restaurant and loved it and didn’t know what to expect. The menu is simplified, which I appreciate in a barbecue restaurant. We went for breakfast and I never ordered the biscuits and gravy at the previous restaurant because it wasn’t very good(dry biscuits, goopy gravy). Here? Amazing. Everything has been delicious so far. Again, simplistic home style cooking, which is exactly what I want from a barbecue restaurant. We’ve been in several times now and we hope the new owners are here to stay. Staff is very friendly and quick.

Good service. Friendly server. Some things on menu are ala carte. If you order a burger, fries are $ 4.00 extra so you will paying over $ 12.00 for a burger.(A little pricey for what you get).

really the most dried ribs I have ever had. I complain to waitress and she said they said the same last night, they were probably warmed up. I spend twenty bucks on left overs… really polish up up your resumes you wont last long.

Breakfast was good and served all day which is a huge improvement on the previous owners. Scones were really good and the country fried steak was pretty good. I loved that it wasn’t a madhouse of old rednecks drinking coffee(like bubbas). Had a nice enjoyable meal without breaking the bank. I’d eat there again recommend the breakfast.

If someone’s going to shill for the business and give it five stars, then let me change my review to what it should have been. I love supporting local places, and this is a newly re-opened(under a new name) business. I hope they will get their act together. Issues we saw: 1. Took 15 minutes to be greeted and get water 2. Took 45 minutes from entering to take our order 3. Took another 30 minutes to get our food 4. Food 5. Service On the food front, mac and cheese was good. Mashed potato was real and good. Scone was good. But this is a bbq place. BBQ sauce was good. Ribs were the absolute toughest I have ever tasted. And I’m half-Texan and half-Italian(both cultures with rich bbq and grill traditions). Brisket wasn’t. It was tough, dried out flank steak. On both of these points — — the ribs and the brisket — — please see the photos I posted. Service was negligent at best. And the place wasn’t busy. The remodel is nice, but they missed the restrooms. Here’s hoping they fix their food and service, or they won’t be in business for long.
