Rules… rules…rules…rules…BEWARE! Not customer friendly. And remember the owner of this company uses your money to support causes that you may not agree with. Do some research.

Didn’t like being a customer? Try being an employee. Of another religion, even. Frank, the owner, loves to boast how he has never and will never lay off an employee. Want to know why? He would have to pay you unemployment. What they do instead is make up stuff to fire you or they treat you like crap and force you to quit. End of the problem to lay you off. I think many of their products are very good, but they, meaning management and many of the employees, have no souls and are unethical and cruel. It is sad that someone who comes off as so sincere, to only having YOUR best interests at heart (the owner, etc), is/​are the exact opposite (s)-akin to the devil.

My experiences with this company were SO negative that I plan on doing a blog on this. Answered an ad on Craigsist for a «job» & was contacted by «Tina». I kept asking what company is this & she would not answer. Instead, Tina makes me get online & shows me this video about the FDA & toxins etc… you know fear based. After all this she’s telling me all about «her» company I find out it is Melaleuca & she wants me to sell under her. Tells me about the commission schedule so I said okay I will try it. BIG mistake, let me tell you. As a mentor Tina sucks. Lied to me about the commission etc… & when I caught her she proceeds to redirect me to the members kit. Pages & pages of stuff instead of answering a simple question. Avoiding emails, avoiding my calls but on me about signing up my friends and family for Melaleuca. Pushy to the point of being ridiculous & of course claiming they are not a pyramid or MLM. ALL lies about the company. Link I sent to family & friends didn’t work so she proceeds to blame them & their inability to use their computers! RUDE! Calls me & says we have to call each person & maunually sign them up w/​her on the phone regardless of whether they want to do that or not!
So much for their «convenient» way to sign up or to order.
SO much happened including my horrible experiences with customer service as well as the regional manager Eric that it would take me literally hours to explain. Tina sends me an email in an attempt to cover her tracks after the fact but refused to address ANY of my emails prior addressing the lies. Meanwhile a NIGHTMARE to cancel and I was charged the monthly charge anyway & sent a back-​up order despite the fact that I asked them NOT to. It went back & then try to get your money back in a timely manner! 35 points a month AS you sell for them so you have to buy around $ 65 worth of product a month to be able to sell! What a scam.
Products are just okay. There wasn’t one product that I thought was outstanding. I had every person I signed up cancel their membership. An all around awful experience with very little support or understanding. Played dumb to the problems on their website, payed dumb to the lies, & Eric the regional manager was a complete jerk as in condenscending and rude. But hey, Tina made her quota for her car allowance thanks to me! So the reason they don’t tell you hey it is Melaleuca right up front when you answer an ad is because they know you will slam the phone down. Big mistake I made trusting Tina. A HUGE life lesson. Have two people that will not speak to me because I told them what Tina told me! They think I am a liar like her! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! They REFUSE to be ACCOUNTABLE! GREEDY! AVOID!!!

One star folks because I couldn’t cancel my membership w/​o having to jump through hoops… Signed me up with out a hitch, but now I have to download paperwork to cancel with my account, plus send them information attached and my signature… Via Ground mail… really!?!
I would not recommend this company. I have products I don’t need and I was never able access my reward dollars… A BIG FAT NO $$$$$

It makes me sad to read that others have had frustrating experiences. I’ve never had a bad one but I’ve never cancelled my membership or put it on hold. The few times I’ve dealt with customer service, even just to have a question answered, I was impressed with how speedy they were to answer my call and handle my request.
I’ve been a Preferred Customer since 2008. My home is full of Melaleuca products and some of my favorites include the toothpaste, household cleaners, foamy soap, liquid foundation and eye shadow. The supplements are top notch. While taking the Women’s Vitality 4 (Essentials), I have impressive energy. If I ever run out and end up having a break from them, the difference is noticeable. Those supplements have a huge impact on how quickly I wake up and become alert in the morning. I have to say that the Active Immune Complex has really helped to stave off colds this winter and I didn’t realize it existed until about November 2012. The shampoo seems to last forever. Honestly, the toothpaste is out of this world as far as I’m concerned. You don’t wake up with the fuzzy teeth, yucky mouth feeling and it’s not hard on your enamel.
Being that you must spend 35 points each month to be a Preferred Customer, I will admit that I’ve purchased a few items here and there that I didn’t need because I would have been short on points. However, this has been very rare in over 4yrs and when this has happened, it has prompted me to try new things, which isn’t a bad idea. I love the home delivery and don’t imagine I’ll ever stop using Melaleuca unless I am out of work and must resort to cheap, lower quality products in our local stores.

I PUT MY ACCOUNT ON hold and tell still continued to ship me product and charge me. When I called I had $ 50 in shipping that I had to pay just to return the product and get my money back. They will not cancel your account unless they get something in writing and if they claim to never receive it then it’s going to cost you,
