I love this place. I’ve only eaten the vegetarian options in the menu(and an occasional sushi) and they have been great. Quick and inexpensive Japanese food. And the lady who runs the place is super sweet.

they always have my order ready quickly if made through Unilocal, and they’re very friendly. The teriyaki roll is very delicious and flavorful. Definitely recommend!

I was excited to try out Ninja’s for lunch, but was sorely disappointed. I ordered the hibachi grill lunch box, but everything tasted like it was bathed in soy sauce. I even ended throwing out some of the soy-drowned veggies. I have no idea how this place gets such positive reviews, unless perhaps their sushi is far better than the hibachi and lunchbox items(which seems unlikely). What I would give for a good Japanese place in Idaho Falls!

Alaska roll and Eel were really good. I was hesitant because of a previous review stating they use paper plates, and they do. Sushi was good for the price.

I went there once in the past and it was the worst sushi that I’ve ever had in my life. They use fake soy sauce. It’s literally colored salt water. It is overpriced for what you get. After $ 34 of inedible food which I did force myself to consume because of the expenditure, I was still hungry. There are 3 other sushi places in IF now where you can get a good meal for a good price so I would say that you don’t have to sacrifice for value. Or just get sushi at Fred Meyer. It would still be way better.

Lunch specials are excellent price and plenty of food. My husband and I each got a hibachi lunch.(I’ll have my leftovers tomorrow.) Lunch comes with meat selection, rice or noodles, two egg rolls, and a soup. Our California roll was the perfect size not too big, not too much rice. I loved the onion soup. We’ll definitely become regulars. Service was perfectly helpful and honest in her recommendations. We didn’t wait long for our food.

You can tell what the food is like when walking into a place and taking in the smells. I told my wife it didn’t smell good but we gave them the benefit of the doubt. I was not happy at all with the sushi. Not fresh and something they called ‘fish’ was fried in cheap cooking oil. That veg cooking oil permeates from your pores after being in there. Sushi isn’t supposed to make you feel like you made and ate a cheeseburger with fries. You sushi people know what I’m talking about. Paper Dixie plates sums it up. Not coming back. I couldn’t get rid of the fried smell from my body for days!

It was okay. The staff was friendly, and service was good. The food, on the other hand was a bit salty(especially the miso soup) and somewhat bland. I hand the teriyaki veggies and needed to add Siracha and soy sauce since it was bland. The eel rolls we had we’re pretty good. My biggest complaint is that everything was served in disposable dishes and with plastic silverware. There was WAY too much waste– because of that, I probably won’t return.

So excited to have this place in IF. I only come here when I’m dropping my sister off in Rexburg, and this is our new favorite stop. Don’t just get sushi, get the hibachi noodles. They’re cheap and amazing. One of my favorite things about this place is that it’s not stuffy like a sushi place — you get your food on paper plates. But it’s yummy and very clean. Super nice proprietors too.

This place is what Idaho Falls needed instead of another chain restaurant. The service is very good and so is the food. We had the beef and shrimp hibachi and there was enough food to share with my husband, and take some home as left overs. The sushi was very good as well! Over all, for the low price you pay this food is very good. Do not go here expecting a 5 star dining experience. It’s is good place for a fun, cheap date!

My wife and I are in from Atlanta to visit family and tried to find a place that was not a chain and different. Nicky is the owner and he was extremely helpful and friendly. Service gets 5 stars! The food was really good as well we had the hibachi with shrimp and beef which was awesome. Then we had the black dragon roll. The sushi was good for a quick place. Don’t expect to get high end sushi but they do a really good job! They make their own special sauce for dipping your meats and it was amazing! Next time I am in Idaho I will stop by again!

Will not go back … Rice in sushi rolls were bland even my 10 and 8 years olds said the sushi rolls had no taste. I can make better sushi myself

Authentic Japanese cuisine at its finest. That is something to say and Idaho. They had generous portions and good service. The pork Hibachi was especially good.

I went and tried the Ninjas Lunchbox last week and was very pleased. I first off want to mention that some previous comments and reviews with such low ratings are flat out terrible and incorrect! Upon walking in the door we were very warmly welcomed and helped immediately. We had the Dragon Roll, a Spicy Tuna Tempura Roll and a side of Hibachi Rice. The presentation of the food was very beautiful! I had water to drink with my meal, but they had a decent selection of bottled beverages as well as a fountain soda machine. I noticed previous reviews mentioned they had a poor drink selection… Not any more it would appear. As I was dining with my lady the hostess approached us with two pieces of sushi formed in the shape of a heart! I thought it was a wonderful gesture! The people there are so nice and welcoming! They did serve our food on paper plates but I did not care one bit! They may have found a niche to keep their costs down so the food is more affordable for us to enjoy! I anticipate as they become more successful they will probably purchase more dining dishes. That stuff isn’t cheap! If you like Sushi please help support these wonderful people! As far as the people who previously left bad reviews, I looked at some of their other reviews as well and it appears that they don’t know what they are talking about on the whole!

You know, I was not real impressed with the sushi, but there are two things this place has going for it that are awesome. 1.) The service was really good, and not just in serving people, but also in making sure the restaurant was clean. 2.) The miso soup is, hands down, the best I’ve ever had. Someone else told me the noodles are much better than the sushi, so I’ll try that next time.

Just what we were looking for! It’s the right price and tastes great just simple sushi. My husband and I got 3 rolls to go and we enjoyed them along with some fried Wantons! I believe everything on the menu is under $ 13 except the trays which are all over $ 20 but still a good deal. Great for To Go and not a bad place to sit and eat in at I’m sure. The people who work there are very welcoming. And the restaurant is very clean which is very nice.

Cheap, plain, disappointing. I brought a friend here on a ladies night out, and was embarrassed completely by the experience. Upon arriving, we asked for seating for two, but we’re told by an irritated teenage hostess that we had to order before we sat down, and then pointed at the wall. The only options on the menu were teriyaki or sushi. Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but there is more to Japanese cuisine than just those foods. There were also a few Chinese appetizers available, but what’s the point of an appetizer if you’re going to get it at the same time as your meal? There are no beverages on the menu, you have to buy them bottled from a cooler, or you can have a disposable plastic cup for water from a water cooler. The décor was a sparse, hodgepodge collection of a Chinese bride doll, Chinese banners and lanterns, Japanese Samurai doll, katana set, and framed prints from the Japanese Animé«Naruto»(which was probably the inspiration for the restaurant’s name, though you’d think they’d at least serve ramen bowls(which would has been awesome)). The outer décor was better thought out, but clearly the entire budget was sunk into the outer appearance of their establishment. The food was standard for SE Idaho sushi, but it was served on paper plates and Styrofoam to-go boxes, which actually seems more appropriate for sushi in a landlocked state. Terribly disappointing, I will not be returning.

Great sushi rolls at a great price. It’s nothing fancy, so if you’re going for atmosphere prepare to be disappointed. Cheapest rolls I’ve seen in Idaho Falls by far, but even the three dollar rolls are made to order with fresh ingredients. The tuna nigiri was fresh and flavorful as were the two other rolls I ordered. Basic rolls started at $ 3 and specialty rolls went up to about $ 8, which is much better priced than any other made to order sushi places here. Haven’t tried their teriyaki menu yet since I’m slowly working my way through the sushi menu, but from what I’ve seen, also looks and smells good. Overall it’s a great place to swing in and grab a quality sushi lunch for under $ 10. Would highly recommend.
