So I not only have 2 nephews who are on the Autism Spectrum, but my 5 year old was just diagnosed. So I will definitely be eating here much more often and supporting them for supporting such a great cause so dear to my heart. And now I am craving a Bacon Scott!!! And if you are really adventurous, try the Iron Port. Apparently it’s the state soda.(I’m from Cali, I say Soda instead of Pop.)

Bacon Scott = delicious. The bacon is always crispy and perfectly cooked. The beef patty is fresh and the combo with tomato, lettuce, and special sauce makes this the BEST local burger. You can’t beat a burger joint that offers Coke, Pepsi, Dr Pepper and Mountain Dew. My personal favorite is the fresh raspberry shake– fresh, thick, and delicious.

Scottys is good old fashioned drive in food. Like stepping into the 1960s. Their milkshakes are super good and you get hand cut fries. If your in the mood for good old greasy food then Scottys is for you.

Disclaimer… we are from out of town and the reviews looked great however this place is awful. The cheeseburger tasted slightly better than a McDonald’s cheeseburger. The fried mushrooms were disgusting despite other reviews. They were soggy on the inside and barely hot. There were multiple fries that had rotten black parts on them. Also, The lady who was running the register seemed uninterested in her job so the customer service was terrible. She seemed irritated when I asked what came on the cheeseburger and annoyed that I wanted it specially made with just ketchup and nothing else. Won’t be going back here.

Let me start by saying if I could rate just the shakes, 5 star! But since it’s the place over all, 3 stars. We are new in town and so we went here the other day for shakes. I had strawberry and it was very fresh! I really enjoyed it. My fiancé had an Ironport since we had never heard of it before and he loves it. He’s not a sweets person but he said it was one of the best he’d had. Today we decided to eat here for dinner. I had the Guac Scott and my fiancé had a Super Scott. The fries were good. Shoestring type. And the leave the skin on which I like. My burger was pretty good. It definitely tastes home made. The bun was a little dry but nothing some fry sauce couldn’t fix. We’d probably eat here again. If not for the food, for the fantastic shakes!

Classic greasy hamburgers. They are good, but not something that you head to every day. More like a once every six month type place.

I grew up on Scottys burgers and of course, the cherry ironport. So when we came to visit my grandma, we had to stop in. Still great! Great memories here and nice to know the food is the same! Just great burgers and fries.

This place is still my favorite place for burgers in Idaho Falls. Plan on having a big burger with lots of options. I tell all my friends and family about this place. Can’t wait till summer us here and we can eat outside.

This is an older establishment, but cute. It could use some fixing up. It wasn’t the cleanest, but ok. We ordered Scotty’s burgers and world famous shakes. We weren’t impressed. The food was just ok. It wasn’t bad, but I think naming the shakes«world famous» was a little overrated. I’m not sure we would go back, unless it were the only option available.

This place has been one of my fave burger joints since childhood and always will be. I almost always get the Double Super Scott, fries, and either a caramel shake or an iron port. Sometimes I vary with the chicken burger which is great! Real mayonnaise, real cheese, and 100% real beef. This place is AWESOME! Was a little worried when it changed ownership but gladly the guy who bought it didn’t change the menu. He added to it but didn’t completely change it.

This place is a old school drive up diner. Good olé American food. I have always had a burger and fries, there always deliciously greasy.

It is OK. Nothing special. Food came pretty quick. Had a cheeseburger that tasted very closely like McDonalds. The bacon ranch had and extra bun and was mediocre. The onion rings were greasy plus some, but the flavor was above average. Had a peach shake that was good. Not much to say.

When I went in I thought Wow this is pretty expensive for a burger at a little hole in the wall drive in. Then I ordered a Bacon cheese scott. It’s worth every penny. One of the best burgers Ive had. We travel in an RV and have had burgers all over the country. We rate them 1 – 10. This burger just tied with the top burger on our list. Great burger and the kids behind the counter were efficient and so polite.

Loved it. Loved the greasy Double Great Scott burger, loved the fries, loved the Huckleberry shake and the Scotch & Soda drink was ok. I’ll be coming back by next time without a doubt.

We came from out of town and didn’t know what to expect, but came out of lunch with a new favorite! The BLT was small but delicious and the atmosphere and workers are really fun. There’s no drive thru and minimal indoor seating, but plenty of outdoor seating. Great drink options, but be sure to get a medium or large to avoid the extra .25 refill.

Five stars for the shakes! But ZERO stars for the food. I guess that averages out to three stars. It’s really typical diner food, and it’s nothing special. Greasy, no gluten free options, the fries we tried were tiny and a mess(spoiled by the real potato fries from Tam’s in Rigby, they are huge and also greasy, but so much better). But oh how we love Scotty’s for the delicious shakes! I always get chocolate, the kids love strawberry. Thick and huge. YUM.

Greasy food! I have tried this several times and I just can’t handle it. The ice cream is alright. I don’t purposefully go here.
