I was so excited to be getting away with my husband for some couple time. Since the boys would be staying on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, we decided to head north to Incline Village. All I can say is, what a disappointment! We were treated so poorly. No one was willing to help us, except to tell us we were not allowed to be here — even though we were guests of a hotel that gave us an access pass & we paid the fee. My husband jokingly said, «I don’t want to jump in the lake here & have everyone jump out & leave.» That pretty much sums it up! But we are not going to let this stop us, jumping in the car to explore other areas of the lake. Hoping it will be more welcoming, because I refuse to patronize ANY business in this town!!!

Nice beach. Can’t swim there and they charge 12 dollars even if you just walk in. The setting is very nice. There is a creek that separates the two beaches. The other beach has a park that you can walk to. Very lovely. Would be nice to let the kids in the water and not have to pay if your not parking.

The third of Incline Village’s private beaches with access only for Incline residents and guests. Proof must be shown during high season. During off season, it’s the official DOGPARK! Woot woot! This is the only official boat launch area for the town.

Beautiful little beach right across from the Hyatt. Peaceful and tranquil every time it visit(which is in the off season so maybe not so much at peak) but I enjoy it and always get gorgeous pics

This is one of our private beaches for Incline Village residents only. I like this beach because it’s usually less crowded and there’s not as much boat traffic. It’s also an easy walk down the beach to the Hyatt. If you really want to cool off, head for the mountain spring that flows year round from snow melt above and feeds into Lake Tahoe. In the middle of Summer this spring is so cold your feet will go numb. This beach also has the sand volleyball court where my team and I open up a can of whoop ass 4 out of 5 times on a regular basis.

For official Dog friendly beaches on the North Lake Tahoe Shore, Ski Beach is the best there is. It is only a few miles from King’s Beach, CA, although it is in Nevada. The beach also has a boat dock and a real sandy beach that is a good size. It is in the middle of two other sections of this mile long strand of sandy beach, which are not dog friendly. The water is so clear, and Incline Village offers a lot to check out.
