Wow, what a sight. Visibly stunning, it’s the best of Tahoe. Crystal blue water, boats, amazing. Think Cayman Islands. Just look at these pics: The bar is a pretty good size, with extra chairs all around, and standing room if you desire. Downside: It’s part of the Hyatt Incline Village, so you must park on their premises.

You’re on the beach. You brought everything but the kitchen sink to the beach. You’re sitting in the sand, toes digging into the warmth, enjoying the view and suddenly, a perky young thing stops by and asks, «Can I get you anything from the bar?» And all of a sudden, even if you are not really much of an alcohol drinker, it just seems so right, right now, to have one of those overpriced fruity little drinks with an umbrella in it, because you can still sit in your little chair, on the beach, and fall asleep pretending to read your book while the perky young thing trots back with the drink you just ordered 7 minutes ago. And you didn’t even have to move a muscle except to hand her money. Now that’s what I call service.

The 2013 bad review below from Quart K. is so ridiculous that I feel compelled to write my own. What the heck does his/her experience with the private beach gate entry staff have to do with the bar? If you are dissatisfied with the Incline Village beach staff and rules, then direct your complaint or review to IVGID, yes? This bar happens to be located on the Incline Village private beach and what a great feature! Fun drinks and staff — daily specials and happy hours — frequent sponsor of great live music — open well past the snack bar closure. What is not to like? It brings a lot of fun and festivity to the area.

Amazing drinks! Gives the beach a Caribbean feel with frozen specialty drinks and cocktail service! Everyone is also very friendly :)

This review is not for the bar, so much as the front gate entry. I never had a chance to make it to the bar. Don’t think about walking a dog by the front gate. The old people manning the pay station are rude! I went in to ask a question and instead of being greeted with a courteous«hello» I got looks of scorn and comments from two individuals. One lady yelling out from the booth, «you know you can’t bring your dog in here» and then an old man stated the same thing about 30 seconds later. This was my first interaction with anybody on my first trip to North Lake Tahoe. It left an ugly taste in my mouth of what people in North Lake are like. To my good fortune, not everybody was as ugly but I would never let any of my friends go here. Not to mention, there are plenty of FREE beaches you can go to with your pup.
