The service was top notch, Andre was prepared exactly as ordered. Delightful flavors.

I brought my girlfriend here about 2 weeks ago and we both agreed that the prices were pretty steep and the food wasn’t all we thought it would be. Very disappointed, will never return.

I have not been to Carrabba’s for quite some time. We were running errands today and decided to stop in for an early dinner. First I want to be very clear the waitress and Manager were wonderful. My complaint is about the food. We arrived about 5PM, there were only a couple of tables with people at them, so a backed up or busy kitchen is not an excuse. They brought bread with dipping sauce. It was Meh. Neither good or bad. We ordered Mussels and calamari as an appetizer. The calamari was not bad, but it was fine. It may just be personal preference. I ordered mussels. They arrived and were totally mushy. When you They were way overcooked. I thought it might just be one that was off. I tried 2 more… yuck. Then my husband ordered Fettucinne Alfredo. The pasta was horrible. It was cooked to a total mush. It was so bad I had to spit it into a napkin to keep from throwing up. I ordered the lobster ravioli. It was not bad. They were not quite cold but not hot. They were fine but nothing to write home about. We won’t be going back. It Whoever was cooking should be fired. Honestly, it almost seemed like they were serving reheated food left over fr from the previous night. Again, the manager and the waitress were fine.

I usually love all italian but carrabbas is an exception. Maybe if was just a bad night but our food was awful. I had the fettuccine carrabba which was dry and had no flavor. My husband got chicken parmesan and was extremely watered down. The price i am paying i should have top quality food. The service was the only thing i give praise to.

This is some of the best food in the area. The Lobster Rav is a favorite. So is our bartender Rob– excellent customer service. He never disappoints. He’s knowledegable and cool too.

They don’t have Ricardo Sauce anymore. I thought the guy I was with was going to have a heart attack. He was devastated. However, I have never had the sauce so in his words; I don’t know what I’m missing. It was happy hour, and we sat at the bar so we could get the bar specials. They were very good. The bartender lady was AWESOME! 10 Stars for her.

We decided to try this place on our way out of town… and it was not a wise choice. The waitress was very sweet, but not very skilled. She forgot to bring what we asked for and the service was extremely slow. I had the steak and shrimp combo. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out Pittsburg rare. It didn’t even look like it was on the grill for 30 seconds, though it took almost an hour to receive my plate. The side of potatoes were cold and clammy. The server brought out new potatoes and they were not much warmer. At that point I decided it would be futile to ask about my uncooked steak. For the price I expected more. Avoid wasting your money and go to Olive Garden for better chain Italian.

I’m very disappointed in this place. My steak was cold and undercooked. My chicken was overcooked and tough. The asparagus and chicken soup was tasty. The table beside us came ten minutes after us, and received their food at least half an hour before us! That was not cool. The only thing that was cool about this place was our food when it was delivered. Everyone’s food was cold, but after waiting so long, we ate it anyways.

Best pasta from a chain restaurant for sure, but it’s not as good as it used to be. The flavors didn’t seem as pronounced. Noodles were perfectly cooked, shrimp was fresh, sauce was great.

Great authentic Italian food however it can be a little pricy at times! They have great wine selections and they also have great service. 5 star restaurant

This location surpasses most others. Great Italian-themed food. My favorites are the Chicken Bryan and the Pollo Rosa Maria. Staff are friendly and service is usually as fast as can be expected. I eat here with my father often. It’s also one of his favorites!(He usually picks it when I’m asking him where to go.) Recommended.

I took my girlfriend here for our first date and then we go back almost every week. The lobster ravioli is our favorite and the service is always fast and friendly. They are a stickler for the rules so if you want to have a drink make sure you bring your ID. The only disappointing experience we had was when we went for lunch and my girlfriend(who’s 35 and eats here weekly) ordered a glass of wine but didn’t have her ID on her. I understand they have rules to follow but it was annoying since we are clearly of age and this was a one time incident. Other than that we love it here– and now we have something to joke about every time we come here.

This was our first time here and we were not disappointed. Our server Blake was very attentive. We ordered shrimp and scallop spiedino with calamari as the appetizers. The lentil soup was fantastic.

We had checked into our hotel on a typically hot and humid evening in mid-July. As our drive had been lengthy, the last option we wanted to exercise with relation to our dinner was to use the car again. We looked around for walking choices, and saw that for the most part there were chains for which we had negative opinions of(Hooters, IHOP, Outback Steakhouse), or places we’d never heard of which had less-than-stellar reviews(Rib Crib). And Carrabbas, which had the look of a chain(and in fact, it is), but at least it was: 1) One that was new to us; 2) Specialized in Italian food — as much as we love our burgers and pizza, we needed a gear shift. So we walked across the street, entered the nice air-conditioned building, and were quickly seated. The waitress was friendly enough, the warm-up bread softened our palette without overstuffing us, and our meals(for me it was the Wood Grilled Salmon, for the wifey it was the Chicken Parmesan) were both tasty and seemingly healthy enough. I washed my meal down with an Italian beer, Peroni, which I’d describe as ‘adequate’(it’s generally my mission to have something relatively local, but this restaurant failed on that account). For dessert the missus had a tiramisu while I had the Dessert Rosa. I should’ve remembered to specify no bananas, but failing that, the sweet was decent enough.

Tonight I was very disappointed. My salmon had seven bones in it. I had requested a lemon with my fish, I was getting food to go and didn’t receive it. In addition, and sad to say, even my salad was marginal containing very little lettuce but a lot of cabbage and carrots. This location is usually very good, so I was surprised. Upon arrival it was raining so I used a napkin to dry off, then I wiped the bar down with it and the napkin was filthy. The manager was replacing two steak dinners at a table next to me as I waited for my to go order. It’s very disappointed as over the years I very much enjoyed my stop before heading east.

A very enjoyable experience, overall, with pleasant staff and prompt service. The dinner menu had an ample number of choices, and all of our selections were presented promptly, steaming hot. Calamari, a chicken trio, shrimp with pasta Alfredo, and the mezaluna(chicken and cheese ravioli shaped like half moons) were all tasty! We will definitely stop by again during our next visit.

Although Carrabba’s is a chain(prefer local) their are some things that keep me coming back. Most locations will have the trademark foliage growing on the roof and flower/herb beds as you enter, and I like this visual suggestion as if what your about to eat is supper fresh. It will not be, through all the salt, seasonings, and cheese occasionally you catch that super preserved added ingredient taste. Born and bred American this Italian/American fare is the stuff I was raised on. As I’ve grown up right along with the KC foodie scene I’ve been made aware of what homemade chicken Marsala or eggplant Parmesan is meant to taste like. You would be remiss to think I don’t like Carrabba’s, because I do. I like the hot bread that comes out as soon as you sit down with olive oil and crushed seasonings on top, so much so I always ask for more to dip in their mama’s chicken vegetable soup. I like the wood burning brick pizza oven that keeps the place smelling like fresh hot bread and toasted cheese. Things I could do with out. Hit or miss service. Last time I went all patrons were sat in the exact same section by the front door where all the chill was coming in brrrrr. The place was virtually empty but they had 3 waitstaff. Time before that unclean glasses(lipstick marks) and utensils(caked on noodle) yuuuuck. Impatient, hovering service. It was probably the end of there shift and they were ready to get their drink on, I get it but I’m not the kind of person to not tip. I know what servers make. Even in high school if I couldn’t afford to tip I didn’t go out to eat. I do not reward bad service though, bad service, minimum tip. That being said I’ve been when service was killer. Introduced themselves, presented specials, gracious and kind, kept the drinks full, knowledgeable on drinks and menu, almost instinctively know when a need had arisen or when to allow for privacy. These servers 5 stars.

Had a great experience getting the Amore Monday Deal the other day, so we decided to come back, which we regretted. The price vs quality/presentation isn’t there. We arrived at 950 and the place closed at 11. Early enough not to upset staff for coming in late. I ordered polla rosa Maria, which I’ve had before and loved. Ordered No mushrooms. The Girl ordered chicken Bryan. Our food came out 20 minutes after our salad(I was wondering what took so long place was dead). By this time it is nearing 1120. Out came my polla rosa covered in mushrooms, and some type of chicken I haven’t heard of as opposed to the chicken bryan. Completely different dish than what she ordered. By this time it was 1120, the kitchen was already cleaning up. We hear the chef yelling at the sever for messing up again, great now a pissed off, chef that was cleaning, now has to remake our food right before close. Our food came out 5 minutes later, it tasted as though they just scraped the mushrooms off of mine. It Was supposed to have a lemon basil sauce, which I couldn’t taste at all over the mushrooms taste, but I wasn’t about to ask for it remade. The dishes in the pictures and teas totaled 45 and tip. For 50 dollars I would go somewhere with much better food and presentation.
