The Naughty Noodle

This is literally a hole in the wall little place. We walked passed it as we were looking for it. Everything taste VERY homemade. We, both ordered the chicken bacon alfredo dish, which I thought it was okay. I wouldn’t get it again. It was a little to heavy for me. The salads and rosemary bread were good. My favorite part of our meal were the desserts!!! Strawberry shortcake and cheesecake! Service was a little slow, but I have to be sympathetic that it was a small restaurant ran by a mother and her teen daughter. The mother/​cook/​owner was very personable. When customers were taken care of, the cook came out to talk to her customers. Overall, no regret for giving this place a try.

This was the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten. Everything was so fresh, even the starter salad was great. Fresh everything and toped with dill, unique and tastey.
Then I had the veggie pasta which I felt had all the best veggies and was seasoned very well. Great portion size too plus it also came with two garlic bread sticks that were in my opinion the perfect touch.
The deserts are different every day I believe, me and my fiancé split a strawberry shortcake and even the whip cream was handmade and amazing.
And the wine was all extremely local. From Independence and Rickreal.
I will definitely be going back soon. It is family run by a mother and daughter who were very attentive, and it had an extremely cute interior. It was an overall great experience.

It was okay. The ingredients tasted cheap, and we could hear the microwave whirring in the back, which was a huge turnoff because we ordered pasta… The building is not eye-​catching at all, either, and is sandwiched between two other businesses with larger buildings, which doesn’t help the NN’s situation.

Still going to this spectacular restaurant at least once each week. The chef has expanded her menu and offers specials weekly. Her Caesar salad is wonderful. The cannelloni is light and expertly prepared. I am told she also has pesto… On the list for next week. Guaranteed you will not tire of the food prepared here!

My wife and I ate here for the first time tonight. Family owned/​run. They use local ingredients, and support the other local businesses. We both had a salad (very good), and Chicken Gorgonzola mixed with cranberries (the best I’ve ever had). Not fast food (Friday night), but well worth the wait. Can’t wait to try it again!

The food was delicious our waitress was very nice and professional. The music and atmosphere were perfect felt like little Italy. The price is reasonable. We will definitely be going again. We took our kids and it was fine, so not a fancy type restaurant but quiet enough for a intimate dinner as well.

My wife and I along with another couple tried the new Naughty Noodle restaurant in Old Town Independence, Oregon. We walked into a small, but intimate dining room.
We were immediately greeted by our server. The service was attentive, but not rushed.
They now carry wine from Left Coast vineyards. The Pinot Noir that was recommended was an excellent choice.
I had the cinnamon roll wrapped lasagne. The one chose was chicken, Gorgonzola cheese and cranberries with an alfredo sauce. It was stupendous! My wife had the pasta with chicken and alfredo sauce along with a group of ingredients she chose from the menu and prepared by the chef as her topping. She rated it as outstanding! The other couple also very much liked their selections.
They get their desserts from Ovenbird Bakery just up the street. We had the whipped cream with chocolate and raspberry torte in a short bread crust. It too was wonderful with coffee from a local roaster.
The chef and owner makes all of the pasta by had from scratch, so it is fresh. She also sources her coffee from a local roaster.
We enjoyed our meal very much, and are planning to return very soon! We are lucky to have this new addition to Independence!

My husband and I had a great dinner at the Naughty Noodle tonight. Great food and good service. I would highly recommend this place. Even the salads were tasty. We were so full we couldn’t eat the great sounding desserts.

Brand new, local eatery. Family owned and run. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner, and my 12 year old Alfredo snob daughter loved hers too! For now the hours are limited, but hopefully they’ll see enough business to extend!
