I hadn’t been to TRU is ages. I visited it to buy a couple of plastic animals by Schleich for pin cushions. (Need to stay off of Pinterest). I was specifically looking for a lama or a goat, I know they make them, I saw them on Amazon.
I went down aisle after aisle. The store wasn’t well stocked and almost looked like an old «Deals» store. It felt dirty, and not as clean as it should.
I found the plastic animals, no goat or lama. Bunches of dinosaurs and horses. I did buy a horse and a polar bear.
The store appeared dated, and I hardly think it’s been updated since 2000, except for the contents. There was one staff member working on stocking. I asked her where the plastic animals were, she looked at me kind of funny, without having a hunch where they were. Unorganized and unpolished, no wonder I quit shopping at this location.

This Toys’R’Us location is consistently well-​stocked, well-​organized, clean, and has friendly, helpful staff. We have been shopping at this TRU location for over 10 years, and have never been disappointed.

Advertises will MATCH prices… when got there, they will NOT MATCH Walmart ad online, such as your cell phone ad, have to have ad physically in your hand!
Was not happy about it, was comparing prices on my cell phone.

I am truly disappointed in this Toys R Us. But hell, maybe it’s all TRU’s now… does no kid want to play cowboys and indians anymore? I know they do, I wasn’t a kid that long ago and I played it still! So it can’t be a dead game yet!
Anyway, i went to TRU to buy a cowboy hat and cap guns for a burlesque piece I am putting together, and they didn’t have either. I guess I understand not having toy guns… the lady said they don’t carry anything that resembles a realistic gun blah blah blah, I get it. But cowboy hats! I don’t know.
They also didn’t have Princess swimming goggles.
I felt that the store needed a good mopping, and some better organization, lighting, and staffing too.
