I R B Boat Rentals

This place is bar far the BEST boat rental you will find in the area. I have rented from many different outfits from Dunedin to St Petes and can say I will never rent from anyone except IRB. The boat we rent is a 25 foot Cobia. The boat was mint, like new condition and everything worked properly. The boats here do not have a rental advertisement plastered all over it like the junk you rent at the Clearwater Marina Pier etc. If you are serious about renting a boat and looking for the best, this is the place! This is by far the best experience I’ve ever had renting a boat anywhere, and I rent at least a few times a year all around the US. James, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure our week long rental was perfect. The 214 Cobia we reserved was in great condition and ran perfectly all week. James would send us texts on the weather and water conditions as well as suggested places to explore. IRB boat rentals did everything right and we will definitely rent from here again on our next trip to the area.

IRB Boat Rentals is a great place to rent a boat. The boats are in great shape, clean, well maintained. James the owner is very knowledgeable regarding boating and navigating the Intracoastal Waterway as he is retired from the US Coast Guard.
We rented a 21′ Cobia with a 150HP Yamaha OB.
James spends a lot of time going over the operation of the boat, safety and how to read navigation charts, the boats also have GPS, VHF radio, and stereo. They have tubes, knee boards, and water skis to rent, we rented a tube so I could take our two kids tubing in the bay just north of the rental location.
We also stopped at Frenchy’s in Clearwater for lunch, they have a dock on the Intracoastal.
Rental prices were very reasonable for the quality of equipment offered.
They do get busy so make sure to make a reservation in advance.
