As a teacher/coach, a runner and a mom staying fit and flexible are my keys to managing stress, preventing injury, and taking care of myself to take care of those I love and with whom I am grateful to work. This yoga studio and, most importantly, Heather is a blessing right in my own backyard. She tailors her classes to her student’s needs, and her private sessions support and help me establish the foundation I need to practice with the clear intention to develop strength, balance, and stability. I walk out of her classes with the focus and energy to tackle life’s delightful surprises ;)

I have been going to This Little Light of Mine off and on for about two years. The instructor, Heather, used Yoga to overcome an injury of her own, so she knows how important it is for your health. She is very welcoming and non-judgmental. I’ve gone to a few other studios and it always feels like it’s a competition. Everyone is trying to out do everyone else, but not here. Everyone is accepted where they are, and Heather will give you modifications for any pose no matter if you are a beginner or advanced Yogi. The class sizes are pretty small. Usually no more than 8 people, so you feel like you get one on one attention. I highly recommend This Little Light of Mine to anyone wanting to try yoga for the first time, or for experienced Yogi’s looking for a change.
