Bob, the owner, did a great job of taking care of my vehicle. They installed an automatic car starter and remote locks. They kept the car overnight and called me when they had updates. Very professional, knowledgable and prompt service. No regrets.

I had a remote start and an audio system put in my car by these guys. I was really impressed with the customer service, sales person knowledge, and the installation. I have been a customer of Audio Electronics for a long time and they always treat me right.
To the review below saying that he paid too much for his radio: I don’t understand how you can say that you paid too much but you still did business with them. If you shop around like I did, you will find that you are getting a good deal on everything, and the one shop stop experience is well worth it. Sure you can get it cheaper online, but then you don’t know what you’re getting, probably don’t have a warranty, and need to rely on somebody shady to put it in for you. Not at all worth saving a few bucks if you ask me. Some cars these days are more expensive than others, and that’s just what it takes to get it done right. I have tried other places and they either can’t do it right at all and have to give me my money back, or something goes wrong and they refused to take care of me. I’ve never had that issue with Audio Electronics.

My experience with Audio Electronics has been a complete nightmare. I paid over $ 450 to get a simple deck put into my car. That’s all. I went to them because I thought they would specialize in this kind of thing and I was dead wrong. After paying my $ 450 everything went downhill. I set up an appointment to get my deck put in and the lead tech called in due to personal issues therefore the wiring wasn’t done right. I’m a very understanding customer so I understand the lead tech being off so I had no problem coming back when he was there. So I came back the next Saturday and they were still unable to get the wiring done correctly and they needed to order more parts. I have now been there four times and the deck still isn’t working properly. The owner, Robert/​Bob, was nice at first but after they couldn’t fix the wiring that they ruined he became hostile and rude. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. Please go elsewhere and save yourself the time and money. Consumers need to know that this place is a scam. Spread the word.

The results are there — but don’t expect it to be quick. Owner is generally unfriendly and unpleasant to deal with. The rest of the employees like to take their time when helping a long line of customers. It was not a positive experience, but my remote start works. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment, but even then expect delays and typical runaround when trying to check repair status on your vehicle. Avoid the owner.

Good products and good service — pretty sure theses guys know exactly what they’re doing and can fix most issues
Cons:
Not overly-​pushy, but annoyingly tried to up-​sell a stereo way, way above what I needed
Both products and installation are more expensive than other shops
Overall a good experience, but you pay a slight premium for it.

These guys have the goods, they specialize in Car Audio but pretty much have it all… Back up cameras, Bluetooth connections, in car monitors, etc. I went in because I have a 2008 Silverado ext cab and I wanted a better sound. I have been wanting some Boston Accoustic speakers for years and this was the only place in Indy who had them. They hooked up up with all replacement Boston Speakers. They also added Dynomat which by the way… I will never ever again add a speaker without it. They installed a DVD Headunit with a Alpine head unit power pack amp. I have a sytem that doesnt have a sub in it but you couldnt tell by the sound it! It rocks! If I put in a movie it sounds movie theatre quality. O, by the way the radio they installed also had blue tooth calling. When I make calls people cant even tell. the installation process was tottally professional. Clean and neat, the blue tooth mic placed perfectly. The staff was very good, very helpful and very knowledgable. I wouldnt recommend getting a stereo install anywhere else.
I made the mistake of going to Best Buy first, dont make the same mistake as me.

The people are friendly here and seem to know their stuff. I bought a car radio/​cd HD player to be installed. We set up an appt. and they did it in 45 minutes, less than the 1 hour they said it would be so that was nice. We got into the car and the system sounded very nice, but the car’s alert system didn’t. Apparently the alert system is tied into the radio so when you change your radio you change your alert tone. This alert tone was high pitched and annoyingly loud. I went home thinking maybe I’d get used to it. Later, when my husband got into the car he thought the tone was so bad it would be impossible to get used to. I called them back and they said they’d check on seeing if they could make it lower pitched and call me back. They didn’t call back as promised so almost a week later I called again. They said they could change it so I went in for another 45 minute appt. The new alert system was good and they did it free of charge and without hassle. Because they didn’t call back and I made 2 trips they only get 2 stars.
