Copper Moon Coffee

I really really really miss the Hubbard & Cravens that was formerly at this location (RIP Healthy Elephant shake). However, since this Copper Moon is sometimes the nearest espresso location during a busy day at work, it is «the» option. Still on a caffeine hiatus, I tend to get a plain decaf latte, for the espresso taste. The service is typically friendly, but the drink make line can get backed up (especially when there are newbies manning the machine… and there seems to be turnover frequently). The pastry and grab n’ go options are overpriced in my opinion; so were Hubbard & Cravens’ options, but at least the quality was better. I can’t speak to the regular coffee or flavored drinks, just to my okay plain decaf lattes… which are difficult to screw up.

Copper Moon is everything I don’t look for in a coffee shop.
Coffee is bland and uninspiring
Not a relaxing place
Unfriendly employees, although Riley is better than University Hospital
Expensive for what you get
Baked goods are not tasty
It is worth the walk to the IUPUI Campus Center to get Caribou Coffee.
