Well well well. Liquor store review. Hey, I am all about quality liquor stores that showcase Indiana wine and beer along with top notch liquors. I think Crown has that going for them. I have come in here a few times when I’ve been at the Target or Meijer doing some shopping and need to grab something for whatever reason. I’ve come in and purchased wine which they have a decent selection of. Check for the red dots because some of the wine can be pretty cheap on sale. Bought a decent bottle for $ 2.99. Couldn’t go wrong with that! I also like their selection of Indiana brew. One can never have enough so hopefully they keep adding more as breweries expand their audience. The prices are reasonable and it’s an easy spot to get in and out of on the southside. I really appreciate the service which is always quick and helpful if you have questions or are in a rush. Very nice Crown! Keep up the good work!

That’s right, if you’re going to build a liquor store in my hood, you better bring it. Between Crown and Parti Pak on Stop 11, I am rarely more than five minutes from any import or micro brew I want. That makes me «hoppy!»

This is my new craft beer stop, and the shelves aren’t even full. If you ever venture to the south side for beer, wine, or spirits you might know Bob and Pat from Crown Liquors 6 on US31 by the White Castle. They have moved to a new store, and– for the most part– so has my business. If you need help in any way– picking something out for a gift or just dinner, finding that special release allocated microbrew, or you just need to know where the cold sixers are– you will get the service you need here. No one will leave you lost in the sea of booze like many other liquor stores. Even though the shelves aren’t full yet I guarantee you won’t be disappointed with the selection. I gave them four stars because I know that in a few short weeks this place will be fully set and better than almost any liquor store in the city. They definitely need a little time to fill the shelves and get the place polished, but they already have dozens of great wines on the lay down racks, hundreds of craft brews, more cold craft beer than almost any place in town– including dozens of bombers– and spirits that you will have a hard time finding anywhere else on the south side. I will definitely be back soon.
