I never knew how good coffee could be! Liberation delivers some delicious, perfectly roasted beans and it’s always fresh. They go around and take back anything older than two weeks, that’s how much they care about the quality of their coffee. No cream needed when you’re brewing Liberation, in my opinion. Excellent coffee and people.

It’s because of Liberation that I’ve become hooked with using local roasters versus the ground coffee that I used to buy at Trader Joe’s or TJ Maxx. I think of it as this: if I would rather have fresh produce over canned, then why am I allowing myself to drink the«canned» stuff? NOMORE! I choose YOU, Liberation! I choose a full-bodied Java Sunda or a chocolatey Nicaragua Finca San Jose to help me be the morning person I struggle being each day. Thanks to owners Scott and Andy, I’m more tolerable before 9AM now that I have that strong caffeine buzz. (Side note: I’ve noticed that the price of a bag of Liberation Roasting coffee is just a tad cheaper than other competitors. When you’re a Catholic school teacher, you’re always looking for ways to save, so I’m glad someone is making great quality coffee affordable.)

This is the coffee I now drink all the time. They are in a very convenient location, right down from Fountain Square Brewery, and they roast some truly amazing coffees. Every time I go in they have something new, and the owners are very passionate about what they are doing. I’ve recently started making cold brewed coffee, and the flavor is only enhanced by the high quality of the bean I get from Liberation. Also, their logo is pretty bad ass.

I finally found out what wonderful coffee is supposed to taste like, thanks to Liberation Roasting. I’m not a coffee snob or a coffee aficionado nor do I guzzle coffee all day. I’m just a One or Two Cups of Coffee in the Morning Only type of person. Therefore, I want my coffee to be inspiringly great. And, I found just that at Liberation Roasting. We visited their store recently(right now they have limited retail hours of Saturdays noon-3pm) and purchased a pound of Ethiopia — Yugacheffe 3 Conga coffee and have really been enjoying the heck out of it. We also met the owners, awesome people, and were given a short tour of the coffee roasting area. Pretty cool. Check out their website for their retail hours and location(a little tricky to find) and for more info about them and their beans.
